KalimNews, Kalimpong, 26 January 22: It is observed that in Bengal and particularly in North Bengal, the number of new infection has diminished while the rate of death alarmingly rose high. Daily report issued by the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare of the state of West Bengal regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of Darjeeling district including all five districts of north Bengal during the last 24 hours is as follows:

10 Death:

Death of 1 in Darjeeling, 7 in Jalpaiguri, 1 in Dakshin Dinajpur, and 1 in Malda is recorded during the last 24 hours.

124 in Darjeeling:

During the last 24 hours 124 new cases, 630 releases were reported from Darjeeling. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district records 124 new cases, and till today there are 66,838 confirmed cases of which 63,875 have recovered and 571 died while 2,342 are active cases.

42 in Kalimpong:

42 new cases, 75 releases were reported from Kalimpong. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Kalimpong district records 42 new cases, and till today there are 8,086 confirmed cases of which 7,724 have recovered, 56 died and 306 are active cases.

110 in Alipurduar:

110 new cases 162 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar records 110 new cases, and till today there are 17,737 confirmed cases of which 16,953 have recovered and 103 died while 681 are active cases.

146 in Coochbehar: 

146 new cases, 230 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar records 146 new cases, and till today there are 32,629 confirmed cases of which 31,575 have recovered, 101 died and 953 are active cases.

170 in Jalpaiguri: 

170 new cases, 400 releases were reported from Jalpaiguri. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri records 170 new cases, and till today there are 47,795 confirmed cases of which 611 died while 45,613 have recovered and 1,571 are active cases.

93 in Uttar Dinajpur:

93 new cases, 313 releases were reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours, Uttar Dinajpur records 93 new cases, and till today, there are 24,485 confirmed cases of which 253 died while 23,038 have recovered and 1,194 are active cases.

127 in Dakshin Dinajpur:

127 new cases 260 releases were reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Dakshin Dinajpur records 127 new cases, and till today there are 22,190 confirmed cases of which 183 died while 20,966 have recovered and 1,041 are active cases.

234 in Malda:  

234 new cases 599 releases were reported today from Malda. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda records 234 new cases, and till today there are 43,141 confirmed cases of which 40,603 have recovered and 193 died and 2,345 are active.
