New cases- 4 in Kalimpong, 29 in Darjeeling, 1 death in North Bengal: State records 867 new cases, 9 death.

 

KalimNews, Kalimpong, 20 October: Daily report issued by the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare of the state of West Bengal regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of Darjeeling district including all five districts of north Bengal during the last 24 hours is as follows:

1 Death:

Death of 1 in Alipurduar is recorded during the last 24 hours.

29 in Darjeeling:

During the last 48 hours 29 new cases, 34 releases were reported from Darjeeling. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district records 29 new cases, and till today there are 56,834 confirmed cases of which 55,982 have recovered and 537 died while 315 are active cases.

4 in Kalimpong:

4 new cases, 6 releases were reported from Kalimpong. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Kalimpong district records 4 new cases, and till today there are 7,007 confirmed cases of which 6,902 have recovered, 54 died and 51 are active cases.

4 in Alipurduar:

4 new 6 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar records 4 new cases, and till today there are 15,542 confirmed cases of which 15,384 have recovered and 102 died while 56 are active cases.

12 in Coochbehar: 

12 new cases, 16 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar records 12 new cases, and till today there are 29,151 confirmed cases of which 28,908 have recovered, 97 died and 146 are active cases.

22 in Jalpaiguri: 

22 new cases, 19 releases were reported from Jalpaiguri. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri records 22 new cases, and till today there are 41,810 confirmed cases of which 566 died while 41,061 have recovered and 183 are active cases.

2 in Uttar Dinajpur:

2 new cases, 5 releases were reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours, Uttar Dinajpur records 2 new cases, and till today, there are 19,769 confirmed cases of which 236 died while 19,489 have recovered 44 are active cases.

17 in Dakshin Dinajpur:

17 new cases, 16 releases were reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Dakshin Dinajpur records 17 new cases, and till today there are 17,722 confirmed cases of which 169 died while 17,407 have recovered and 146 are active cases.

4 in Malda:  

4 new cases, 10 releases were reported today from Malda. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda records 4 new cases, and till today there are 33,311 confirmed cases of which 33,035 have recovered and 186 died and 90 are active.
