KalimNews, Kalimpong, 24 October: Daily report issued by the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare of the state of West Bengal regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of Darjeeling district including all five districts of north Bengal during the last 24 hours is as follows:
1 Death:
Death of 1 in Darjeeling is recorded during the last 24 hours.
36 in Darjeeling:
During the last 48 hours 36 new cases, 32 releases were reported from Darjeeling. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district records 36 new cases, and till today there are 56,954 confirmed cases of which 56,112 have recovered and 538 died while 304 are active cases.
2 in Kalimpong:
2 new cases, 5 releases were reported from Kalimpong. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Kalimpong district records 2 new cases, and till today there are 7,018 confirmed cases of which 6,922 have recovered, 54 died and 42 are active cases.
5 in Alipurduar:
5 new 5 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar records 5 new cases, and till today there are 15,558 confirmed cases of which 15,406 have recovered and 102 died while 50 are active cases.
14 in Coochbehar:
14 new cases, 14 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar records 14 new cases, and till today there are 29,198 confirmed cases of which 28,967 have recovered, 97 died and 134 are active cases.
24 in Jalpaiguri:
24 new cases, 19 releases were reported from Jalpaiguri. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri records 24 new cases, and till today there are 41,880 confirmed cases of which 566 died while 41,136 have recovered and 178 are active cases.
4 in Uttar Dinajpur:
4 new cases, 7 releases were reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours, Uttar Dinajpur records 4 new cases, and till today, there are 19,815 confirmed cases of which 236 died while 19,513 have recovered 66 are active cases.
23 in Dakshin Dinajpur:
23 new cases, 15 releases were reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Dakshin Dinajpur records 23 new cases, and till today there are 17,778 confirmed cases of which 169 died while 17,465 have recovered and 144 are active cases.
3 in Malda:
3 new cases, 8 releases were reported today from Malda. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda records 3 new cases, and till today there are 33,329 confirmed cases of which 33,070 have recovered and 186 died and 73 are active.
