KalimNews, Kalimpong, 10 October: Daily report issued by the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare of the state of West Bengal regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of Darjeeling district including all five districts of north Bengal during the last 24 hours is as follows:

1 Death:

Death of 1 in Coochbehar is recorded during the last 24 hours.

31 in Darjeeling:

During the last 48 hours 31 new cases, 36 releases were reported from Darjeeling. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district records 31 new cases, and till today there are 56,594 confirmed cases of which 55,687 have recovered and 533 died while 374 are active cases.

2 in Kalimpong:

2 new cases, 6 releases were reported from Kalimpong. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Kalimpong district records 2 new cases, and till today there are 6,969 confirmed cases of which 6,850 have recovered, 54 died and 65 are active cases.

5 in Alipurduar:

5 new 7 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar records 5 new cases, and till today there are 15,502 confirmed cases of which 15,327 have recovered and 101 died while 74 are active cases.

12 in Coochbehar: 

12 new cases, 15 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar records 12 new cases, and till today there are 29,026 confirmed cases of which 28,777 have recovered, 96 died and 152 are active cases.

15 in Jalpaiguri: 

15 new cases, 20 releases were reported from Jalpaiguri. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri records 15 new cases, and till today there are 41,656 confirmed cases of which 565 died while 40,882 have recovered and 209 are active cases.

3 in Uttar Dinajpur:

3 new cases, 22 releases were reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours, Uttar Dinajpur records 3 new cases, and till today, there are 19,723 confirmed cases of which 235 died while 19,462 have recovered 26 are active cases.

21 in Dakshin Dinajpur:

21 new cases, 13 releases were reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Dakshin Dinajpur records 21 new cases, and till today there are 17,590 confirmed cases of which 169 died while 17,281 have recovered and 140 are active cases.

6 in Malda:  

6 new cases, 10 releases were reported today from Malda. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda records 6 new cases, and till today there are 33,232 confirmed cases of which 32,952 have recovered and 186 died and 94 are active.
