KalimNews, Kalimpong, 3 October: Daily report issued by the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare of the state of West Bengal regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of Darjeeling district including all five districts of north Bengal during the last 24 hours is as follows:

23 in Darjeeling:

During the last 48 hours 23 new cases, 35 releases were reported from Darjeeling. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district records 23 new cases, and till today there are 56,358 confirmed cases of which 55,445 have recovered and 531 died while 382 are active cases.

16 in Kalimpong:

16 new cases, 6 releases were reported from Kalimpong. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Kalimpong district records 16 new cases, and till today there are 6,936 confirmed cases of which 6,802 have recovered, 53 died and 81 are active cases.

7 in Alipurduar:

7 new 7 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar records 7 new cases, and till today there are 15,454 confirmed cases of which 15,281 have recovered and 101 died while 72 are active cases.

14 in Coochbehar: 

14 new cases, 15 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar records 14 new cases, and till today there are 28,936 confirmed cases of which 28,673 have recovered, 96 died and 167 are active cases.

26 in Jalpaiguri: 

26 new cases, 21 releases were reported from Jalpaiguri. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri records 26 new cases, and till today there are 41,544 confirmed cases of which 565 died while 40,738 have recovered and 241 are active cases.

1 in Uttar Dinajpur:

1 new cases, 3 releases were reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours, Uttar Dinajpur records 1 new cases, and till today, there are 19,709 confirmed cases of which 235 died while 19,446 have recovered 28 are active cases.

9 in Dakshin Dinajpur:

9 new cases, 12 releases were reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Dakshin Dinajpur records 9 new cases, and till today there are 17,494 confirmed cases of which 169 died while 17,194 have recovered and 131 are active cases.

4 in Malda:  

4 new cases, 11 releases were reported today from Malda. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda records 4 new cases, and till today there are 33,184 confirmed cases of which 32,882 have recovered and 186 died and 116 are active.
