KalimNews, Kalimpong, 17 Aug 2021: Daily report issued by the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare of the state of West Bengal regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of Darjeeling district including all five districts of north Bengal during the last 24 hours is as follows:

1 Death:
Death of 1 in Darjeeling is recorded during the last 24 hours.

64 in Darjeeling:
During the last 48 hours 64 new cases, 67 releases are reported from Darjeeling. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district records 64 new cases, and till today there are 54,458 confirmed cases of which 52,970 have recovered and 511 died while 977 are active cases.

5 in Kalimpong:
5 new cases, 11 releases were reported from Kalimpong. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Kalimpong district records 5 new cases, and till today there are 6,579 confirmed cases of which 6,301 have recovered, 45 died and 233 are active cases.

6 in Alipurduar:
6 new cases, 14 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar records 6 new cases, and till today there are 15,091 confirmed cases of which 14,782 have recovered and 99 died while 210 are active cases.

31 in Coochbehar: 
31 new cases, 30 releases reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar records 31 new cases, and till today there are 28,133 confirmed cases of which 27,526 have recovered, 95 died and 512 are active cases.

22 in Jalpaiguri: 
22 new cases, 40 releases reported from Jalpaiguri. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri records 22 new cases, and till today there are 40,474 confirmed cases of which 548 died while 39, 356 have recovered and 570 are active cases.

8 in Uttar Dinajpur:
8 new cases, 8 releases were reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours, Uttar Dinajpur records 8 new cases, and till today, there are 19,549 confirmed cases of which 233 died while 19,206 have recovered 110 are active cases.

3 in Dakshin Dinajpur:
3 new cases, 7 releases were reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Dakshin Dinajpur records 3 new cases, and till today there are 17,011 confirmed cases of which 168 died while 16,749 have recovered and 94 are active cases.

10 in Malda:  
10 new cases, 5 releases were reported today from Malda. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda records 10 new cases, and till today there are 32,748 confirmed cases of which 32,481 have recovered and 185 died and 82 are active.
