KalimNews, Kalimpong, 3 Aug 2021: Daily report issued by the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare of the state of West Bengal regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of Darjeeling district including all five districts of north Bengal during the last 24 hours is as follows:

3 Death:

Death of 3 in Darjeeling, is recorded during the last 24 hours.

58 in Darjeeling:

During the last 48 hours 58 new cases, 87 releases are reported from Darjeeling. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district records 58 new cases, and till today there are 53,543 confirmed cases of which 51,938 have recovered and 499 died while 1106 are active cases.

27 in Kalimpong:

27 new cases, 16 releases were reported from Kalimpong. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Kalimpong district records 27 new cases, and till today there are 6,301 confirmed cases of which 6,026 have recovered, 40 died and 235 are active cases.

24 in Alipurduar:

24 new cases, 16 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar records 24 new cases, and till today there are 14,899 confirmed cases of which 14,544 have recovered and 99 died while 256 are active cases.

38 in Coochbehar: 

38 new cases, 41 releases reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar records 38 new cases, and till today there are 27,659 confirmed cases of which 26,983 have recovered, 95 died and 581 are active cases.

78 in Jalpaiguri: 

78 new cases, 44 releases reported from Jalpaiguri. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri records 78 new cases, and till today there are 39,920 confirmed cases of which 538 died while 38, 727 have recovered and 655 are active cases.

17 in Uttar Dinajpur:

17 new cases, 8 releases were reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours, Uttar Dinajpur records 17 new cases, and till today, there are 19,442 confirmed cases of which 233 died while 19,080 have recovered 129 are active cases.

2 in Dakshin Dinajpur:

2 new cases, 6 releases were reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Dakshin Dinajpur records 2 new cases, and till today there are 16,903 confirmed cases of which 168 died while 16,648 have recovered and 87 are active cases.

5 in Malda:  

5 new cases, 4 releases were reported today from Malda. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda records 5 new cases, and till today there are 32,655 confirmed cases of which 32,411 have recovered and 184 died and 60 are active.
