KalimNews, Kalimpong, 4 Aug 2021: Daily report issued by the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare of the state of West Bengal regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of Darjeeling district including all five districts of north Bengal during the last 24 hours is as follows:

1 Death:
Death of 1 in Kalimpong, is recorded during the last 24 hours.
3 in Darjeeling, 2 in Jalpaiguri 1 in Alipurduar, 2 in Coochbehar, 1 in Uttar Dinajpur, and 1 in Dakshin Dinajpur, 1 in Malda

64 in Darjeeling:
During the last 48 hours 64 new cases, 89 releases are reported from Darjeeling. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district records 64 new cases, and till today there are 53,607 confirmed cases of which 52,027 have recovered and 499 died while 1081 are active cases.

19 in Kalimpong:
19 new cases, 31 releases were reported from Kalimpong. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Kalimpong district records 19 new cases, and till today there are 6,320 confirmed cases of which 6,057 have recovered, 41 died and 222 are active cases.

13 in Alipurduar:
13 new cases, 18 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar records 13 new cases, and till today there are 14,912 confirmed cases of which 14,562 have recovered and 99 died while 251 are active cases.

47 in Coochbehar: 
47 new cases, 41 releases reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar records 47 new cases, and till today there are 27,706 confirmed cases of which 27,024 have recovered, 95 died and 587 are active cases.

37 in Jalpaiguri: 
37 new cases, 46 releases reported from Jalpaiguri. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri records 37 new cases, and till today there are 39,957 confirmed cases of which 538 died while 38, 773 have recovered and 646 are active cases.

12 in Uttar Dinajpur:
12 new cases, 9 releases were reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours, Uttar Dinajpur records 12 new cases, and till today, there are 19,454 confirmed cases of which 233 died while 19,089 have recovered 132 are active cases.

9 in Dakshin Dinajpur:
9 new cases, 6 releases were reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Dakshin Dinajpur records 9 new cases, and till today there are 16,912 confirmed cases of which 168 died while 16,654 have recovered and 90 are active cases.

7 in Malda:  
7 new cases, 4 releases were reported today from Malda. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda records 7 new cases, and till today there are 32,662 confirmed cases of which 32,415 have recovered and 184 died and 63 are active.
