Edwards quits GNLF : will submit his resignation letter on 5 September

SNS, DARJEELING, 29 JULY 21: Gorkha National Liberation Front (GNLF) leader Ajoy Edwards has finally announced his resignation from the party.

Releasing a video clip from Ladakh, where he is presently touring, he said he will be returning to Darjeeling on 5 September and will submit his resignation letter to the party then.

Mr Edwards, the Darjeeling branch president of the party, however, said that though he will not be a part of the GNLF, he will continue his political journey.

It may be mentioned here that Mr Edwards had recently sent audio messages to his party 'family' in which he has accused GNLF president Mann Ghisingh of betraying him and just using him.
