Weather Warning for the Region During Next Five Days:•

KalimNews, Kalimpong, 5 July 21 : Heavy to Very Heavy rainfall occurred at one or two places over Jharkhand.
Heavy rainfall occurred at one or two places over Odisha, Bihar and Coochbehar & Alipurduar districts of Sub Himalayan West Bengal.
Rainfall occurred at most places over Sikkim and the districts of Sub Himalayan West Bengal ;at many places over Odisha & Jharkhand; at a few places over Andaman & Nicobar Islands & the districts of Gangetic West Bengal and at one or two places over Bihar. Yesterday’s trough at mean sea level now runs from northwest Uttar Pradesh to Tripura across East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Sub Himalayan West Bengal and Assam. 
A cyclonic circulation lies over north Odisha & adjoining Gangetic West Bengal and extends upto 1.5 km above mean sea level. The north-south trough from Northeast Bihar to South coastal Odisha across Northeast Jharkhand & Gangetic West Bengal at 1.5 km above mean sea level has merged with the above system.

Monday 05 July (Day-1)
1) Heavy rain (7-11cm) likely to occur at one or two places over Bihar, Jharkhand and Jalapiguri, Kalimpong, Darjeeling, North & South Dinajpur districts of Sub Himalayan West Bengal.
2) Thunder storm with lightning likely to occur at one or two places over Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha and the districts of West Bengal.

Tuesday 06 July (Day-2)
1) Heavy rain (7-11cm) likely to occur at one or two places over Bihar and Darjeeling, Jalpaiguri, Kalimpong, Coochbehar, Alipurduar districts of Sub Himalayan West Bengal.
2)Thunder storm with lightning likely to occur at one or two places over Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Sikkim and the districts of West Bengal.

Wednesday 07 July (Day-3)
1) Heavy rain (7-20cm) likely to occur at one or two places over Bihar and Coochbehar, Alipurduar districts of Sub Himalayan West Bengal.
2) Heavy rain (7-11cm) likely to occur at one or two places over Jharkhand, Odisha ,Andaman & Nicoabar Islands, Sikkim and Darjeeling, Jalpaiguri, Kalimpong, Nadia, Murshidabad, Birbhum districts of West Bengal.
3) Thunder storm with lightning likely to occur at one or two places over Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha and the districts of West Bengal.

Thursday 08 July (Day-4)
1) Heavy to very heavy rain (7-20cm) likely to occur at one or two places over Bihar.
2) Heavy rain (7-11cm) likely to occur at one or two places over Jharkhand, Odisha, Andaman & Nicoabar Islandsand Coochebhar, Alipurduar, Murshidabad, Birbhum, East & West Burdwan, Bankura, Purulia districts of West Bengal.
3)Thunder storm with lightning likely to occur at one or two places over Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha and the districts of West Bengal.

Friday 09 July (Day-5)
1 Heavy rain (7-11cm) likely to occur at one or two places over Jharkhand, Odisha, Bihar, Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
2) Thunder storm with lightning likely to occur at one or two places over Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha and the districts of Gangetic West Bengal.
