KalimNews, Kalimpong, 28 July 2021: Daily report issued by the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare of the state of West Bengal regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of Darjeeling district including all five districts of north Bengal during the last 24 hours is as follows:

8 Death:

Death of 4 in Darjeeling, 2 in Coochbehar 1 in Jalpaiguri, and 1 in Dakshin Dinajpur district is recorded during the last 24 hours.

62 in Darjeeling:

During the last 48 hours 62 new cases, 71 releases are reported from Darjeeling. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district records 62 new cases, and till today there are 53171 confirmed cases of which 51,449 have recovered and 495 died while 1227 are active cases.

22 in Kalimpong:

22 new cases, 16 releases were reported from Kalimpong. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Kalimpong district records 22 new cases, and till today there are 6182 confirmed cases of which 5,910 have recovered, 39 died and 233 are active cases.

19 in Alipurduar:

19 new cases, 20 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar records 19 new cases, and till today there are 14,805 confirmed cases of which 14432 have recovered and 99 died while 274 are active cases.

39 in Coochbehar: 

39 new cases, 45 releases reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar records 39 new cases, and till today there are 27,436 confirmed cases of which 26,720 have recovered, 95 died and 621 are active cases.

42 in Jalpaiguri: 

42 new cases, 48 releases reported from Jalpaiguri. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri records 42 new cases, and till today there are 39,649 confirmed cases of which 530 died while 38,451 have recovered and 668 are active cases.

5 in Uttar Dinajpur:

5 new cases, 10 releases were reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours, Uttar Dinajpur records 5 new cases, and till today, there are 19,389 confirmed cases of which 233 died while 19,026 have recovered 130 are active cases.

2 in Dakshin Dinajpur:

2 new cases, 8 releases were reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Dakshin Dinajpur records 2 new cases, and till today there are 16,881 confirmed cases of which 168 died while 16,602 have recovered and 111 are active cases.

1 in Malda:  

1 new cases, 5 releases were reported today from Malda. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda records 1 new cases, and till today there are 32,637 confirmed cases of which 32,384 have recovered and 184 died and 69 are active.
