KalimNews, Kalimpong, 8 July 2021: Daily report received from the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of North Bengal including all five districts of north Bengal including Gorkhaland Territorial Administration during the last 24 hours states the followings:

6 Death:

Death of 1 in Darjeeling, 1 in Coochbehar , 4 in Jalpaiguri district is recorded during the last 24 hours. 

88 in Darjeeling:

During the last 48 hours 88 new cases, 113 release is reported from Darjeeling. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Darjeeling district records 88 new cases, 51607 confirmed cases of which 49593 have recovered and 472 died while 1542 are active cases.

15 in Kalimpong:

15 new cases, 17 release reported from Kalimpong. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Kalimpong district records 15 new cases, 5789 confirmed cases of which 5553 have recovered, 39 died and 197 are active cases.

25 in Alipurduar:

25 new cases, 27 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Alipurduar records 25 new cases, 14402 confirmed cases of which 13981 have recovered and 99 died while 322 are active cases.

65 in Coochbehar: 

65 new cases, 93 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Coochbehar records 65 new cases, 26510 confirmed cases of which 25540  have recovered, 91 died and 879 are active cases.

55 in Jalpaiguri: 

55 new cases, 81 release reported from Jalpaiguri. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Jalpaiguri records 55 new cases, 38651 confirmed cases of which 510 died while 37249 have recovered and 892 are active cases.

22 in Uttar Dinajpur:

22 new cases, 21 release reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Uttar Dinajpur records 22 new cases, 19220 confirmed cases of which 232 died while 18746 have recovered and 242 are active cases.

8 in Dakshin Dinajpur:

8 new cases, 18 release reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Dakshin Dinajpur records 8 new cases, 16727 confirmed cases of which 167 died while 16363 have recovered and 197 are active cases.

4 in Malda:
