KalimNews, Kalimpong, 16 June 2021: Daily report received from the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of North Bengal including all five districts of north Bengal including Gorkhaland Territorial Administration during the last 24 hours states the followings:

19 Death:

Death of 8 in Darjeeling, 1 in Alipurduar, 7 in Jalpaiguri, 1 in Dakshin Dinajpur 1 in Uttar Dinajpur, 1 in Malda district is recorded during the last 24 hours. 

180 in Darjeeling:

During the last 48 hours 180 new cases, 127 release is reported from Darjeeling. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Darjeeling district records 180 new cases, 48169 confirmed cases of which 46434 have recovered and 424 died while 1311 are active cases.

9 in Kalimpong:

9 new cases, 11 release reported from Kalimpong. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Kalimpong district records 9 new cases, 5345 confirmed cases of which 5161 have recovered, 37 died and 147 are active cases.

63 in Alipurduar:

63 new cases, 41 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Alipurduar records 63 new cases, 13804 confirmed cases of which 13201 have recovered and 95 died while 508 are active cases.

98 in Coochbehar: 

98 new cases, 77 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Coochbehar records 98 new cases, 24632 confirmed cases of which 23557 have recovered, 87 died and 988 are active cases.

234 in Jalpaiguri: 

234 new cases, 108 release reported from Jalpaiguri. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Jalpaiguri records 234 new cases, 36435 confirmed cases of which 465 died while 34725 have recovered and 1245 are active cases.

32 in Uttar Dinajpur:

32 new cases, 32 release reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Uttar Dinajpur records 32 new cases, 18650 confirmed cases of which 217 died while 18128 have recovered and 305 are active cases.

43 in Dakshin Dinajpur:
