1) Heavy rain (7-11cm) likely to occur at one or two places over Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

2) Thunder squall with windspeed reaching 50-60 kmph gusting to 70 kmph likely to occur at one or two places over Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

3) Thunder storm with lightning & gusty wind (speed reaching 30-40 kmph) likely to occur over the districts of SubHimalayan West Bengal.

Monday 24 May 

1) Heavy rain (7-11cm) likely to occur at one or two places over Andaman Islands.

2)Thunder squall with windspeed reaching 50-60 kmph likely to occur over Andaman & Nicobars Islands.

3)Thunder storm with lightning & gusty wind (speed reaching 30-40 kmph) likely to occur over Sikkim and the districts of SubHimalayan West Bengal.

4)Thunder storm with lightning likely to occur at one or two places over Odisha, Bihar.

Tuesday 25 May 

1) Heavy to very heavy rain (7-20cm) likely to occur at one or two places over Odisha and East & West Midnapore, North & South 24 Parganas, Howrah, Hooghly districts of Gangetic West Bengal.

2)Heavy rain (7-11cm) likely to occur at one or two places over Jharkhand and Darjeeling, Kalimpong, Kolkata, Bankura, Jhargram districts of West Bengal.

3)Thunder storm with lightning & gusty wind (speed reaching 40-50 kmph) likely to occur at one or two places over Jharkhand.

4)Thunder storm with lightning & gusty wind (speed reaching 40-50 kmph) likely to occur at one or two places over Bihar, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Sikkim and the districts of SubHimalayan West Bengal.

Thursday 26 May 

1)Heavy to very heavy rain (7-20 cm) at a few places with extremely heavy rain (>20cm)at one or two places likely to occur at East & West Midnapore, Jhargram, Bankura districts of Gangetic West Bengal.

2)Heavy to very heavy rain (7-20 cm) with extremely heavy rain (>20cm)likely to occur at one or two places over Odisha.

3)Heavy to very heavy rain (7-20 cm) likely to occur at one or two places over Jharkhand, Sikkim and Malda, North South Dinajpur districts of SubHimalayan West Bengal and the rest districts of Gangetic West Bengal.

4) Heavyrain (7-11cm) likely to occur at one or two places over Bihar and Darjeeling, Jalpaiguri, Kalimpong, Coochbehar, Alipurduar districts of SubHimalayan West Bengal.

5)Thunder storm with lightning and gusty wind (speed reaching 50-60 kmph) likely to occur at one or two places over Jharkhand..

IMD: A LOW PRESSURE AREA HAS FORMED OVER EASTCENTRAL BOB TODAY THE 22ND MAY 2021 MORNING (0300 UTC). IT IS VERY LIKELY TO CONCENTRATE INTO A DEPRESSION OVER EASTCENTRAL BAY OF BENGAL BY TOMORROW. THE 23RD MAY MORNING. IT IS VERY LIKELY MOVE NORTH-NORTHWESTWARDS. INTENSIFY INTO A CYCLONIC STORM BY 24TH MAY AND FURTHER INTO A VERY SEVERE CYCLONIC STORM DURING SUBSEQUENT 24 HOURS. IT WOULD CONTINUE TO MOVE NORTH-NORTHWESTWARDS. INTENSIFY FURTHER AND REACH NORTH BAY OF BENGAL NEAR WEST BENGAL AND ADJOINING NORTH ODISHA & BANGLADESH COASTS AROUND 26 " MAY MORNING. IT IS VERY LIKELY TO CROSS WEST BENGAL AND ADJOINING NORTH ODISHA & BANGLADESH COASTS AROUND EVENING OF 26T" MAY.

THE MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WIND SPEED IS 10-15 KMPH GUSTING TO 25 KMPH AROUND SYSTEM CENTRE. SEA CONDITION IS ROUGH TO VERY ROUGH. THE ESTIMATED CENTRAL PRESSURE IS 1003 HPA
