KalimNews, Kalimpong, 26 May 2021: Report received from the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of North Bengal including all five districts of north Bengal including Gorkhaland Territorial Administration during the last 24 hours is as follows:

23 Death:

Death of 4 in Darjeeling, 1 in Coochbehar, 9 in Jalpaiguri, 4 in Uttar Dinajpur, 5 in Dakshin Dinajpur, district is recorded during the last 24 hours.

861 in Darjeeling:

During the last 48 hours 861 new cases, 649 release is reported from Darjeeling. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Darjeeling district records 861 new cases, 40200 confirmed cases of which 35183 have recovered and 349 died while 4668 are active cases.

90 in Kalimpong:

90 new cases, 69 release reported from Kalimpong. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Kalimpong district records 90 new cases, 4313 confirmed cases of which 3757 have recovered, 33 died and 523 are active cases.

246 in Alipurduar:

246 new cases, 159 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Alipurduar records 246 new cases, 11213 confirmed cases of which 10122 have recovered and 94 died while 997 are active cases.

265 in Coochbehar: 

265 new cases, 231 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 Coochbehar records 265 new cases, 20056 confirmed cases of which 18143 have recovered, 80 died and 1833 are active cases.

549 in Jalpaiguri: 

549 new cases, 418 release reported from Jalpaiguri. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Jalpaiguri records 549 new cases, 28350 confirmed cases of which 341 died while 24302 have recovered and 3707 are active cases.

142 in Uttar Dinajpur:

142new cases, 206 release reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Uttar Dinajpur records 142 new cases, 16588 confirmed cases of which 178 died while 14838 have recovered and 1572 are active cases.

186 in Dakshin Dinajpur:

186 new cases, 154 release reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Dakshin Dinajpur records 186 new cases, 14479 confirmed cases of which 132 died while 13260 have recovered and 1087 are active cases.

162 in Malda:  

162 new cases, 225 release reported today from Malda. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Malda records 162 new cases, 30693 confirmed cases of which 28966 have recovered and 177 died and 1550 are active cases.

Uttar Dinajpur records 142 new cases, 16588 confirmed cases of which 178 died while 14838 have recovered and 1572 are active cases.

Dakshin Dinajpur records 186 new cases, 14479 confirmed cases of which 132 died while 13260 have recovered and 1087 are active cases.

Malda records 162 new cases, 30693 confirmed cases of which 28966 have recovered and 177 died and 1550 are active cases.
