KalimNews, Kalimpong, 5 May 2021: Report received from the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of North Bengal including all five districts of north Bengal including Gorkhaland Territorial Administration during the last 48 hours is as follows:

16 Death:

Death of 6 in Darjeeling, 4 in Jalpaiguri, 2 in Uttar Dinajpur, 3 in Dakshin Dinajpur, and 1 in Malda district is recorded during the last 48 hours.

1 in Coochbehar, 1 in Kalimpong, 1 in Alipurduar,

478 in Darjeeling:

During the last 48 hours 478 new cases, 436 release is reported from Darjeeling. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 48 hour Darjeeling district records 478 new cases, 26327 confirmed cases of which 22705 have recovered and 245 died while 3377 are active cases.

84 in Kalimpong:

84 new cases, 31 release reported from Kalimpong. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 48 hour Kalimpong district records 84 new cases, 2972 confirmed cases of which 2566 have recovered, 29 died and 377 are active cases.

59 in Alipurduar:

59 new cases, 61 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 48 hour Alipurduar records 59 new cases, 8763 confirmed cases of which 8099 have recovered and 90 died while 574 are active cases.

185 in Coochbehar: 

185 new cases, 178 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 48 hour Coochbehar records 185 new cases, 14606 confirmed cases of which 13346 have recovered, 74 died and 1186 are active cases.

196 in Jalpaiguri: 

196 new cases, 267 release reported from Jalpaiguri. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 48 hour Jalpaiguri records 196 new cases, 19005 confirmed cases of which 205 died while 17091 have recovered and 1709 are active cases.

351 in Uttar Dinajpur:

351 new cases, 288 release reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 48 hour Uttar Dinajpur records 351 new cases, 11201 confirmed cases of which 102 died while 9216 have recovered and 1883 are active cases.

252 in Dakshin Dinajpur:

252 new cases, 120 release reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 48 hour Dakshin Dinajpur records 252 new cases, 10608 confirmed cases of which 87 died while 9366 have recovered and 1155 are active cases.

544 in Malda:  

544 new cases, 592 release reported today from Malda. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 48 hour Malda records 544 new cases, 24267 confirmed cases of which 20450 have recovered and 164 died and 3653 are active cases.

Coochbehar records 185 new cases, 14606 confirmed cases of which 13346 have recovered, 74 died and 1186 are active cases.

Jalpaiguri records 196 new cases, 19005 confirmed cases of which 205 died while 17091 have recovered and 1709 are active cases.

Uttar Dinajpur records 351 new cases, 11201 confirmed cases of which 102 died while 9216 have recovered and 1883 are active cases.

Dakshin Dinajpur records 252 new cases, 10608 confirmed cases of which 87 died while 9366 have recovered and 1155 are active cases.

Malda records 544 new cases, 24267 confirmed cases of which 20450 have recovered and 164 died and 3653 are active cases.
