KalimNews, Kalimpong, 11 May 2021: Report received from the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of North Bengal including all five districts of north Bengal including Gorkhaland Territorial Administration during the last 24 hours is as follows:

17 Death:

Death of 7 in Darjeeling, 1 in Kalimpong, 8 in Jalpaiguri, 1 in Uttar Dinajpur, district is recorded during the last 24 hours.

715 in Darjeeling:

During the last 48 hours 715 new cases, 574 release is reported from Darjeeling. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Darjeeling district records 715 new cases, 29974 confirmed cases of which 25853 have recovered and 274 died while 3847 are active cases.

69 in Kalimpong:

69 new cases, 40 release reported from Kalimpong. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Kalimpong district records 69 new cases, 3304 confirmed cases of which 2837 have recovered, 31 died and 436 are active cases.

191 in Alipurduar:

191 new cases, 33 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Alipurduar records 191 new cases, 9220 confirmed cases of which 8452 have recovered and 91 died while 677 are active cases.

267 in Coochbehar: 

267 new cases, 221 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 Coochbehar records 267 new cases, 16096 confirmed cases of which 14545 have recovered, 75 died and 1476 are active cases.

388 in Jalpaiguri: 

388 new cases, 309 release reported from Jalpaiguri. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Jalpaiguri records 388 new cases, 20981 confirmed cases of which 238 died while 18635 have recovered and 2108 are active cases.

205 in Uttar Dinajpur:

205 new cases, 299 release reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Uttar Dinajpur records 205 new cases, 12926 confirmed cases of which 121 died while 10972 have recovered and 1833 are active cases.

204 in Dakshin Dinajpur:

204 new cases, 232 release reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Dakshin Dinajpur records 204 new cases, 12054 confirmed cases of which 101 died while 10524 have recovered and 1429 are active cases.

289 in Malda:  

289 new cases, 559 release reported today from Malda. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Malda records 289 new cases, 27069 confirmed cases of which 23861 have recovered and 175 died and 3033 are active cases.

Today’s daily state bulletin regarding the report of the last 24 hrs and from the beginning till today stated that Darjeeling district records 715 new cases, 29974 confirmed cases of which 25853 have recovered and 274 died while 3847 are active cases.

Similarly Kalimpong district records 69 new cases, 3304 confirmed cases of which 2837 have recovered, 31 died and 436 are active cases.
