KalimNews, Kalimpong, 23 May 2021: Report received from the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of North Bengal including all five districts of north Bengal including Gorkhaland Territorial Administration during the last 24 hours is as follows:

13 Death:

Death of 6 in Darjeeling, 1 in Coochbehar, 2 in Jalpaiguri, 4 in Uttar Dinajpur district is recorded during the last 24 hours.

731 in Darjeeling:

During the last 48 hours 731 new cases, 661 release is reported from Darjeeling. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Darjeeling district records 731 new cases, 38097 confirmed cases of which 33216 have recovered and 337 died while 4544 are active cases.

54 in Kalimpong:

54 new cases, 71 release reported from Kalimpong. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Kalimpong district records 54 new cases, 4041 confirmed cases of which 3547 have recovered, 32 died and 462 are active cases.

213 in Alipurduar:

213 new cases, 129 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Alipurduar records 213 new cases, 10727 confirmed cases of which 9674 have recovered and 93 died while 960 are active cases.

256 in Coochbehar: 

256 new cases, 258 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 Coochbehar records 256 new cases, 19231 confirmed cases of which 17406 have recovered, 78 died and 1747 are active cases.

662 in Jalpaiguri: 

662 new cases, 456 release reported from Jalpaiguri. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Jalpaiguri records 662 new cases, 26434 confirmed cases of which 308 died while 22968 have recovered and 3158 are active cases.

180 in Uttar Dinajpur:

180 new cases, 263 release reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Uttar Dinajpur records 180 new cases, 16013 confirmed cases of which 166 died while 141507 have recovered and 1697 are active cases.

192 in Dakshin Dinajpur:

192 new cases, 167 release reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Dakshin Dinajpur records 192 new cases, 14042 confirmed cases of which 123 died while 12765 have recovered and 1154 are active cases.

164 in Malda:  

164 new cases, 257 release reported today from Malda. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Malda records 164 new cases, 3088 confirmed cases of which 28261 have recovered and 177 died and 1650 are active cases.

Jalpaiguri records 662 new cases, 26434 confirmed cases of which 308 died while 22968 have recovered and 3158 are active cases.

Uttar Dinajpur records 180 new cases, 16013 confirmed cases of which 166 died while 141507 have recovered and 1697 are active cases.

Dakshin Dinajpur records 192 new cases, 14042 confirmed cases of which 123 died while 12765 have recovered and 1154 are active cases.

Malda records 164 new cases, 3088 confirmed cases of which 28261 have recovered and 177 died and 1650 are active cases.
