KalimNews, Kalimpong, 6 May 2021: Report received from the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of North Bengal including all five districts of north Bengal including Gorkhaland Territorial Administration during the last 48 hours is as follows:

19 Death:

Death of 3 in Darjeeling, 1 in Coochbehar, 5 in Jalpaiguri, 4 in Uttar Dinajpur, 1 in Dakshin Dinajpur, and 5 in Malda district is recorded during the last 48 hours.

1 in Kalimpong, 1 in Alipurduar,

598 in Darjeeling:

During the last 48 hours 598 new cases, 447 release is reported from Darjeeling. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 48 hour Darjeeling district records 598 new cases, 26925 confirmed cases of which 23152 have recovered and 248 died while 3525 are active cases.

45 in Kalimpong:

45 new cases, 46 release reported from Kalimpong. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 48 hour Kalimpong district records 45 new cases, 3017 confirmed cases of which 2612 have recovered, 29 died and 376 are active cases.

48 in Alipurduar:

48 new cases, 64 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 48 hour Alipurduar records 48 new cases, 8811 confirmed cases of which 8163 have recovered and 90 died while 558 are active cases.

215 in Coochbehar: 

215 new cases, 181 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 48 hour Coochbehar records 215 new cases, 14821 confirmed cases of which 13527 have recovered, 75 died and 1219 are active cases.

200 in Jalpaiguri: 

200 new cases, 228 release reported from Jalpaiguri. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 48 hour Jalpaiguri records 200 new cases, 19205 confirmed cases of which 210 died while 17319 have recovered and 1676 are active cases.

279 in Uttar Dinajpur:

279 new cases, 297 release reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 48 hour Uttar Dinajpur records 279 new cases, 11480 confirmed cases of which 106 died while 9513 have recovered and 1861 are active cases.

185 in Dakshin Dinajpur:

185 new cases, 143 release reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 48 hour Dakshin Dinajpur records 185 new cases, 10793 confirmed cases of which 88 died while 9509 have recovered and 1196 are active cases.

575 in Malda:  

575 new cases, 611 release reported today from Malda. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 48 hour Malda records 575 new cases, 24842 confirmed cases of which 21061 have recovered and 169 died and 3612 are active cases.

Uttar Dinajpur records 279 new cases, 11480 confirmed cases of which 106 died while 9513 have recovered and 1861 are active cases.

Dakshin Dinajpur records 185 new cases, 10793 confirmed cases of which 88 died while 9509 have recovered and 1196 are active cases.

Malda records 575 new cases, 24842 confirmed cases of which 21061 have recovered and 169 died and 3612 are active cases.
