KalimNews, Kalimpong, 12 May 2021: Report received from the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of North Bengal including all five districts of north Bengal including Gorkhaland Territorial Administration during the last 24 hours is as follows:

22 Death:

Death of 8 in Darjeeling, 10 in Jalpaiguri, 1 in Uttar Dinajpur, 3 in Dakshin Dinajpur district is recorded during the last 24 hours.

745 in Darjeeling:

During the last 48 hours 745 new cases, 586 release is reported from Darjeeling. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Darjeeling district records 745 new cases, 30719 confirmed cases of which 26439 have recovered and 282 died while 3998 are active cases.

26 in Kalimpong:

26 new cases, 47 release reported from Kalimpong. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Kalimpong district records 26 new cases, 3330 confirmed cases of which 2884 have recovered, 31 died and 415 are active cases.

125 in Alipurduar:

125 new cases, 52 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Alipurduar records 125 new cases, 9345 confirmed cases of which 8504 have recovered and 91 died while 750 are active cases.

174 in Coochbehar: 

174 new cases, 241 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 Coochbehar records 174 new cases, 16270 confirmed cases of which 14786 have recovered, 75 died and 1409 are active cases.

381 in Jalpaiguri: 

381 new cases, 337 release reported from Jalpaiguri. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Jalpaiguri records 381 new cases, 21362 confirmed cases of which 248 died while 18972 have recovered and 2142 are active cases.

189 in Uttar Dinajpur:

189 new cases, 286 release reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Uttar Dinajpur records 189 new cases, 13115 confirmed cases of which 122 died while 11258 have recovered and 1735 are active cases.

194 in Dakshin Dinajpur:

194 new cases, 293 release reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Dakshin Dinajpur records 194 new cases, 12248 confirmed cases of which 104 died while 10817 have recovered and 1327 are active cases.

274 in Malda:  

274 new cases, 493 release reported today from Malda. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Malda records 274 new cases, 27343 confirmed cases of which 24354 have recovered and 175 died and 2814 are active cases.
