KalimNews, Kalimpong, 4 May 2021: Report received from the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of North Bengal including all five districts of north Bengal including Gorkhaland Territorial Administration during the last 48 hours is as follows:

10 Death:

Death of 2 in Darjeeling, 1 in Alipurduar, 1 in Jalpaiguri, 4 in Uttar Dinajpur, 1 in Dakshin Dinajpur, and 1 in Malda district is recorded during the last 48 hours.

1 in Coochbehar, 1 in Kalimpong,

613 in Darjeeling:

During the last 48 hours 613 new cases, 382 release is reported from Darjeeling. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 48 hour Darjeeling district records 613 new cases, 25849 confirmed cases of which 2269 have recovered and 239 died while 3341 are active cases.

19 in Kalimpong:

19 new cases, 37 release reported from Kalimpong. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 48 hour Kalimpong district records 19 new cases, 2888 confirmed cases of which 2535 have recovered, 29 died and 324 are active cases.

105 in Alipurduar:

105 new cases, 35 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 48 hour Alipurduar records 105 new cases, 8704 confirmed cases of which 8038 have recovered and 90 died while 576 are active cases.

150 in Coochbehar: 

150 new cases, 172 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 48 hour Coochbehar records 150 new cases, 14421 confirmed cases of which 13168 have recovered, 74 died and 1179 are active cases.

261 in Jalpaiguri: 

261 new cases, 212 release reported from Jalpaiguri. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 48 hour Jalpaiguri records 261 new cases, 18809 confirmed cases of which 201 died while 16824 have recovered and 1784 are active cases.

254 in Uttar Dinajpur:

254 new cases, 270 release reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 48 hour Uttar Dinajpur records 254 new cases, 10850 confirmed cases of which 100 died while 8928 have recovered and 1822 are active cases.

199 in Dakshin Dinajpur:

199 new cases, 97 release reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 48 hour Dakshin Dinajpur records 199 new cases, 10356 confirmed cases of which 84 died while 9246 have recovered and 1026 are active cases.

395 in Malda:  

395 new cases, 603 release reported today from Malda. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 48 hour Malda records 395 new cases, 23723 confirmed cases of which 19858 have recovered and 163 died and 3702 are active cases.

Today’s daily state bulletin regarding the report of the last 48 hrs and from the beginning till today stated that Darjeeling district records 613 new cases, 25849 confirmed cases of which 2269 have recovered and 239 died while 3341 are active cases.

Similarly Kalimpong district records 19 new cases, 2888 confirmed cases of which 2535 have recovered, 29 died and 324 are active cases.

Alipurduar records 105 new cases, 8704 confirmed cases of which 8038 have recovered and 90 died while 576 are active cases.

Coochbehar records 150 new cases, 14421 confirmed cases of which 13168 have recovered, 74 died and 1179 are active cases.

Jalpaiguri records 261 new cases, 18809 confirmed cases of which 201 died while 16824 have recovered and 1784 are active cases.

Uttar Dinajpur records 254 new cases, 10850 confirmed cases of which 100 died while 8928 have recovered and 1822 are active cases.

Dakshin Dinajpur records 199 new cases, 10356 confirmed cases of which 84 died while 9246 have recovered and 1026 are active cases.

Malda records 395 new cases, 23723 confirmed cases of which 19858 have recovered and 163 died and 3702 are active cases.
