KalimNews, Kalimpong, 3 April 2021: Reports received and collected regarding testing and treatment of Covid patients in the different Hospitals of North Bengal including Darjeeling district and Gorkhaland Territorial Administration during the last 24 hours:

Of the 1568 tests made, 6 tested positive.

2 tourists of Mumbai tested positive. 

A couple of Mumbai travelled by Air to Bagdogra and by taxi travelled to Darjeeling, stayed in a hotel. They are now admitted in Isolation ward of Darjeeling district Hospital.

6 in Darjeeling district:

6 new cases, 11 states that within the last Darjeeling district records 9 new cases,18644 confirmed cases of which 18356 have recovered and 204 died while 84 are active cases. Darjeeling district records 6 new cases,18699 confirmed cases of which 18386 have recovered and 204 died while 109 are active cases.

0 admitted in the CCU unit of the newly opened Covid Block of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH). .

During the last 24 hours 2 suspected Covid patients is admitted in the Isolation Wards of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH). There are 2 patients (1 of Jalpaiguri tested positive other 1 of Siliguri) in the Respiratory Intensive Care Unit (RICU) ward, but no patients in Surgical isolation ward and in Gynecological Maternity Isolation ward and in Isolation ward -1.
