Of the 10 positive cases of the district, 2 are from the area of Darjeeling district of the SMC.

0 case is reported from the Darjeeling Hills and 7 cases from the plains (2 in Matigara, and 5 in Phansidewa) 

6 new cases, 8 release reported today from Darjeeling. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last Darjeeling district records 6 new cases,18635 confirmed cases of which 18347 have recovered and 204 died while 84 are active cases.

1 new case, 1 release reported today from Kalimpong. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Kalimpong district records 1 new case, 2245 confirmed cases of which 2208 have recovered, 27 died and 10 are active cases.

1 in Alipurduar:

1 new case, 1 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar records 1 new case, 7734 confirmed cases of which 7634 have recovered and 86 died while 14 are active cases.

0 admitted in the CCU unit of the newly opened Covid Block of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH). .

During the last 24 hours 1 suspected Covid patient is admitted in one of the Isolation Wards of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH). There is 1 patient in Surgical isolation ward and no patients in Respiratory Intensive Care Unit (RICU) ward, in Gynecological Maternity Isolation ward and in Isolation ward -1.
