KalimNews, Kalimpong, 30 January 2021: Reports received and collected regarding testing and treatment of Covid patients in the different Hospitals in the 5 of the 7 districts of North Bengal including Darjeeling district and Gorkhaland Territorial Administration during the last 24 hours:

No Death:

7 in SMC:

7 of Siliguri Municipality Corporation (6 in Darjeeling and 1 in Jalpaiguri districts) tested positive. 

7 in Darjeeling district:

Of the 7 positive cases of Darjeeling district, 6 is from the Darjeeling district of the SMC, while 1 from the plains - Matigara is infected. 

State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district recorded 17 new cases,18300 confirmed cases of which 17914 have recovered and 203 died while 183 are active cases.

1 in Kalimpong:

1 new case, 2 release reported today from Kalimpong. 39 are active cases. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Kalimpong district recorded 1 new case, 2222 confirmed cases of which 2159 have recovered, 25 died and 38 are active cases.

1 in Alipurduar:

1 new case, 1 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar recorded 1 new case, 7694 confirmed cases of which 7573 have recovered and 86 died while 35 are active cases.

2 in Coochbehar: 

2 new case, 2 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar recorded 2 new case, 11808 confirmed cases of which 11668 have recovered, 72 died and 68 are active cases.

1 in Jalpaiguri: 

1 new cases, 6 release reported from Jalpaiguri today. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri recorded 3 new case, 14627 confirmed cases of which 160 died while 14340 have recovered and 127 are active cases.

0 in Uttar Dinajpur:

0 new cases, 2 release reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Uttar Dinajpur recorded 7 new cases, 6615 confirmed cases of which 73 died while 6440 have recovered and 102 are active cases.

3 in Dakshin Dinajpur:

3 new cases, 2 release reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Dakshin Dinajpur recorded 4 new cases, 8154 confirmed cases of which 74 died while 8034 have recovered and 46 are active cases.

2 in Malda:  

2 new case reported today from Malda. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda recorded 3 new cases, 12645 confirmed cases of which 12430 have recovered and 113 died and 102 are active cases.

3 Discharged:

After testing negative and recovery 3 cases have been released from Covid hospitals that also includes home isolation patients but excluding patients in private hospitals and army establishments.

During the last 24 hours no suspected Covid patients are admitted in the Isolation Wards of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH). There are no patients in Respiratory Intensive Care Unit (RICU) ward, Gynecological Maternity Isolation ward, Surgical isolation ward and Isolation ward -1.

DR. CHHANG'S SS Covid Hospital 

In Dr.Chhang’s SS Covid Hospital at Matigara, 12 Covid-19 patients (7 are in ICU) are admitted, during the last 24 hours 2 patients are newly admitted while 2 are released.

COVID PATIENTS IN THE 8 DISTRICTS OF NORTH BENGAL

Today’s daily state bulletin regarding the report of the last 24 hrs and from the beginning till today stated that Darjeeling district records 17 new cases,18300 confirmed cases of which 17914 have recovered and 203 died while 183 are active cases.

Similarly Kalimpong district records 1 new case, 2222 confirmed cases of which 2159 have recovered, 25 died and 38 are active cases.

Alipurduar records 1 new case, 7694 confirmed cases of which 7573 have recovered and 86 died while 35 are active cases.

Coochbehar records 2 new case, 11808 confirmed cases of which 11668 have recovered, 72 died and 68 are active cases.

Jalpaiguri records 3 new case, 14627 confirmed cases of which 160 died while 14340 have recovered and 127 are active cases.

Uttar Dinajpur records 7 new cases, 6615 confirmed cases of which 73 died while 6440 have recovered and 102 are active cases.

Dakshin Dinajpur records 4 new cases, 8154 confirmed cases of which 74 died while 8034 have recovered and 46 are active cases.
