34 recovered from Covid-19, Fresh positive cases during last 24 hrs – 10 in Kalimpong, 2 in Darjeeling Municipality, 1 in Sukhiapokhari,. Of the plains they are-1 in Sukuna, 2 in Matigara, 1 in Phansidewa 4 in Naxalbari, tested positive. 

25 in Malda, 6 in Alipurduar, 23 in Coochbehar, 67 in Jalpaiguri and tested positive.

KalimNews, Kalimpong, 19 December 2020: Reports received and collected regarding testing and treatment of Covid patients in the different Hospitals in the 5 of the 7 districts of North Bengal including Darjeeling district and Gorkhaland Territorial Administration during the last 24 hours:- 

No Death: 

8 in SMC:

8 of Siliguri Municipality Corporation (5 in Darjeeling and 3 in Jalpaiguri districts) tested positive. 

16 in Darjeeling district:

Of the 16 tested positive cases of Darjeeling district, 5 are from the Darjeeling district of the SMC while 3 is from the Darjeeling hills - 2 in Darjeeling Municipality, 1 in Sukhiapokhari,. Of the plains they are-1 in Sukuna, 2 in Matigara, 1 in Phansidewa 4 in Naxalbari, tested positive. 

and 1 in Takdah, 1 in Kurseong Municipality, 1 in Mirik, 1 in Pulbazar, 1 in Mirik2 in Khoribari,

State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district records 79 new cases,17233 confirmed cases of which 16491 have recovered and 195 died while 547 are active cases.

10 in Kalimpong:

10 new cases, 13 release from Kalimpong is reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Kalimpong district records 10 new cases, 2066 confirmed cases of which 1998 have recovered, 23 died and 45 are active cases.

25 in Malda:  

25 new cases, 44 release reported today from Malda. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda records 25 new cases, 12233 confirmed cases of which 11774 have recovered and 109 died and 350 are active cases.

6 in Alipurduar:

6 new cases, 15 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar records 6 new cases, 7552 confirmed cases of which 7406 have recovered and 85 died while 61 are active cases.

23 in Coochbehar: 

23 new cases, 35 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar records 23 new cases, 11425 confirmed cases of which 10976 have recovered, 68 died and 381 are active cases.

67 in Jalpaiguri: 

67 new cases, 56 release reported from Jalpaiguri today. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri records 67 new cases, 13939 confirmed cases of which 153 died while 13324 have recovered and 462 are active cases.

34 Discharged:

After testing negative and recovery 34 from Dr. Chhang’s SS hospital, Desun Covid hospital, Nivedita Nursing Home, Tribeni Covid Hospital and others from Safe homes were discharged today. 

NBMCH

During the last 24 hours 2 suspected Covid patients are admitted in three Isolation Wards of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH). There are 1 patient each  admitted in Gynecological Maternity Isolation ward and in Surgical isolation ward  and no patients in Respiratory Intensive Care Unit (RICU) ward, and Isolation ward -1.

DR. CHHANG'S SS Covid Hospital 

At present in Dr.Chhang’s SS Covid Hospital at Matigara, 14 Covid-19 patients are admitted,  during the last 24 hours no patients are newly admitted and 7 are released and 4 referred.

DESUN Covid Hospital

In DESUN Covid Hospital at Kawakhali, 26 Covid-19 patients are admitted and 2 patients are newly admitted, 1 are released.

Today’s daily state bulletin regarding the report of the last 24 hrs stated that Darjeeling district records 79 new cases,17233 confirmed cases of which 16491 have recovered and 195 died while 547 are active cases.
