Major Weather System over the Region

Very Light Rain occurred at one or two places over SubHimalayan West Bengal.

Weather remained dry over there starea of the region. Today’s minimum temperature appreciably fell at one or two places in SubHimalayan West Bengal, and appreciably rose at one or two places in Gangetic West Bengal.

No large change occurred else where in the region. Those were above to appreciably above normal at many places in Gangetic West Bengal; above normal at one or two places in SubHimalayan West Bengal; below normal at a few places in SubHimalayan West Bengal, at one or two places in Gangetic West Bengal and normal else where in the region. 

Lowest minimum temperature of 13.1 degC was recorded at Coochbehar (SHWB) in the plains of the region.Yesterday’s trough runs from the cyclonic circulation over southeast & adjoining southwest Arabian Sea to Comorin area and extends upto 3.1 km above mean sealevel.

Thursday 19 Nov:  Moderate to dense fog likely to occur at one or two places over Odisha.

Friday 20 Nov: Nil.

Saturday 21 Nov: Heavy rain (7-11) cm likely to occur at one or two places over Andaman & Nicobar islands.

Sunday 22 Nov: Heavy rain (7-11) cm likely to occur at one or two places over Andaman & Nicobar islands.
