Five Covid patients die in Siliguri -83 new cases in Darjeeling district

Three residents of  Kalimpong district also died at another specialised hospital at Matigara last evening, while a 59-year-old person, a 68-year-old resident of Teesta Bazaar, and another 62- year- old person from Gorubathan also died there, sources said.

SNS, SILIGURI. 12 NOVEMBER 2020 : A 69-year-old resident of Sevoke Road in Siliguri died at the designated hospital for Covid-19 patients at Kawakhali today. He had been admitted to the hospital on 1 November.

A 48-year-old from Kishanganj in Bihar, who had been admitted to the hospital on 4 November, also died today, sources said.

83 new cases in Darjeeling district

Meanwhile, Darjeeling district recorded 83 new cases of Covid-19, including 47 in the Siliguri Municipal Corporation, three in Kharibari, seven in Sukna, two in Kurseong Municipality, 14 in Matigara, seven in Mirik, eight in Naxalbari, and one in Pulbazaar/Bijanbari, sources said.
