3 Death:

Kunti Thapa, 46 yr old of CR Das Road- Bhutia Busty Darjeeling, Golapi Devi, 70 yr old of Ghoksadanga Coochbehar, and Abdul Mia 62 yr old of Andaran Fulbari Tufangunj died in Desun Hospital

49 of SMC:

49 of Siliguri Municipality Corporation (26 of Darjeeling and 23 from Jalpaiguri district). The infected are - 4 of Tinbatti more, 1 of Ghughumali, Hyderpara, Mallaguri, Samarnagar, Bhaktinagar, Collegepara, Darjeeling more, GRP camp, Hakimpara, Lions  Club, Mallaguri, Milanpalli, Railway Hospital, Vivekananada palli, Milanmore tested positive during the last 24 hrs.

91 of Darjeeling district:

Of the 91 positive cases of Darjeeling district 26 are from Darjeeling district of SMC while 65 cases are reported from different areas of the district during the last 24 hrs. They are 4 in Darjeeling Municipality, 1 in Kurseong Municipality, 2 in Sukhiapokhari, 8 in Mirik, 3 in Pulbazar, 8 in Sukuna, 16 in Matigara, 18 in Naxalbari, 5 in Phansidewa, tested positive. 

Darjeeling district has 6602 confirmed cases of which 5700 have recovered and 94 died while 808 are active cases. 

6 in Kalimpong: 6 new cases reported including political leaders Ruden Lepcha and  Tara Sundas. And 4 Kalimpong Municipality staff. Kalimpong district has 698 confirmed cases of which 563 have recovered, 3 died and 132 are active cases. 

98 in Malda: 98 new cases reported today from Malda. Malda has 5836 confirmed cases of which 5247 have recovered and 50 died and 539 are active cases.

35 in Alipurduar:  35 new cases reported. Alipurduar has 3527 confirmed cases of which 2943 have recovered and 33 died while 551 are active cases. 

75 in Coochbehar:  75 new cases of Covid 19 infection. Coochbehar has 4538 confirmed cases of which 3902 have recovered, 24 died and 612 are active cases. 

33 in Jalpaiguri:  33 new cases reported from Jalpaiguri today. Jalpaiguri has 4975 confirmed cases of which 42 died while 4292 have recovered and 641 are active cases. 

31 Discharged:

After testing negative and recovery 31 from Dr. Chhang’s SS hospital, Desun Covid hospital and others from Safe homes were discharged today.

 

NBMCH

12 suspected Covid patients are admitted in three Isolation Wards of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH). There are 4 patients in Surgical isolation ward, 3 patients in Respiratory Intensive Care Unit (RICU) ward and 5 in Female -Gynecological Isolation ward are admitted. 

1 of Bagdhara Kalimpong is admitted.  

DR. CHHANG'S SS Covid Hospital 

At Dr. Chhang’s Super Speciality Covid hospital 110 patients are admitted today in this hospital at Himanchal Vihar of which 14 is newly admitted and 1 released.

3 of Giddepahar Kurseong and 1 each of Kurseong, Sukuna, Sonada, Takdah, Upper Putung, Lodhoma, Sukhiapokhari  Tindharia, Ghoom, Ropeway Singamari and 1 each of Ongden Road, Thakurbari Kalimpong, Rockvale,  and Mongpong Police Force of GTA area are admitted.

DESUN Covid Hospital

In DESUN Covid Hospital at Kawakhali, 84 Covid-19 patients are admitted, 12 are in ICU and 28 patients are newly admitted and 2 released

Milan Busty Darjeeling, Dowhill Road Kurseong, Bloomfield,North Point Darjeeling, Mahebdra Gaon Mirik and 1 of Thakurbari, Kalimpong are admitted.

NIVEDITA Nursing Home

52 patients are admitted of which 13 are in ICU are being treated in Isolation ward of this hospital. Of these 34 are Covid patients. 7 released.

The number of people in the district of Darjeeling are, 1092 in home quaramtine - in Kalimpong district 657 in home quarantine, the tally of GTA area stands to 1749

There are 22 Covid patients in 2 Covid hospital outside GTA area, 28 in GTA area and 56 more Covid patients in 5 Safe Homes of GTA, 1 in 1 Safe home outside GTA area, the tally of GTA being 107 active cases in Covid hospitals and safe homes.
