4 death: 4 persons died in hospitals of North Bengal due to Covid-19,  Anjali Roy, 55 yrs woman, of Jalpaiguri Central Correctional Home died at I-2;   

Umesh Roy, 65 Yrs, of Kaliagunj of Uttar Dinajpur died in RICU of NBMCH;

Purna Sarkar, 54 yrs of Ashoknagar Ward no. 32 at I-2 of NBMCH;

35 Yrs, of Kokrajhar Assam died in a nursing home

37 of Siliguri Municipal Corporation: During the last 24 hrs of Siliguri Municipality Corporation (20 of Darjeeling and 17 from Jalpaiguri district) tested positive. They are: 4 of Ward no. 14; 3 of Ward no.16, 38, 39 ;  2 of Ward nos.7, 11, 40, 46; 1 of Ward nos .1, 4, 13, 27, 29, 31, 32, 36, 37, 41, 42, and others.

73 of Darjeeling district:

Of the 73 positive cases of Darjeeling district 20 are from Darjeeling district of SMC while 53 cases are reported from different areas of the district during the last 24 hrs. They are 4 of Darjeeling MC (of Dali, Gaushala, 2 of Dabaipani), 1 of Kurseong MC (of Jail line), 3 of Mirik (of Soureni, Thana line), 5 of Pulbazar ( Alubari, 3 of Tukvar ) of Bijanbari, 3 of Sukhiapokhari (of SSB), 3 of Takdah (of Mungpoo), 11 of Matigara, 12 of Naxalbari, 3 of Phansidewa, and 8 of Khoribari.   

Darjeeling district has 5115 confirmed cases of which 4351 have recovered and 75 died while 689 are active cases. 

4 of Kalimpong: 4 new cases reported from Kalimpong. Kalimpong district has 483 confirmed cases of which 423 have recovered, 3 died and 57 are active cases. 

28 of Malda: 28 new cases reported today from Malda. Malda has 5004 confirmed cases of which 4546 have recovered and 39 died and 419 are active cases. 

104 of Alipurduar: 3 died, 104 new cases reported. In the district there are 2181 confirmed cases of which 1435 have recovered and 14 died while 732 are active cases.  

112 of Coochbehar:  112 new cases of Covid 19 infection. The complete report of the district is 3064 confirmed cases of which 2216 have recovered, 10 died and 838 are active cases

24 of Jalpaiguri: 1 died, 24 new cases reported from Jalpaiguri today. Jalpaiguri has 3675 confirmed cases of which 35 died while 2899 have recovered and 741 are active cases 

41 Discharged: After testing negative and recovery 41 from Dr. Chhang’s SS hospital, Desun Covid hospital and others from Safe homes were discharged today.

NBMCH
9 suspected Covid patients are admitted in three Isolation Wards of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH). There is 1 patient in ID-1 and 2 in Surgical Isolation, 2 patient in Respiratory Illness Care Unit (RICU), and 4 in Female -Gynecological Isolation ward are admitted. 1 of Jorebunglow admitted.
 
DR. CHHANG'S SS Covid Hospital 

At Dr. Chhang’s Super Speciality Covid hospital 78 patients are admitted today in this hospital at Himanchal Vihar of which 18 are newly admitted while 11 are released. 
5 of Kurseong, 1 of Takdah, and 1 of Mirik and 1 of Jorebunglow and 3 of Kalimpong of GTA area are admitted.

DESUN Covid Hospital

In DESUN Covid Hospital at Kawakhali, 56 Covid-19 patients are admitted and 8 patients are newly admitted and 16 released. 4 of Darjeeling, 3 of Kurseong, 1 of Rongtong, 1 of Takdah and 1 of Kalimpong, of GTA area are admitted in this hospital. 2 released.

NIVEDITA Nursing Home

53 patients are admitted of which 13 are in ICU including a doctor of Bagdogra and are being treated in Isolation ward of this hospital. Of these 38 are Covid patients. 7 released.

Nil from Kurseong of GTA admitted.

The number of people in the district of Darjeeling are, 862 in home quaramtine - in Kalimpong district 690 in home quarantine, the tally of GTA area stands to 1552. 

There is 21 Covid patients in 2 Covid hospital outside GTA area, 44 in GTA area and 50 more Covid patients in 5 Safe Homes of GTA, 1 in 1 Safe home out side GTA area, the tally being 116 as active cases.
