7 death in Siliguri hospitals- 6th death of Kalimpong

7 death including 1 of Kalimpong, 76 recovered, fresh positive cases – 13 in hills, 31 in SMC during last 24 hrs.  –3 in Kalimpong, 6 in Darjeeling Municipality, 3 in Sukhiapokhari, 3 in Pulbazar, 1 in Takdah, 3 in Sukuna, 12 in Matigara, 11 in Naxalbari, 3 Phansidewa and 3 in Khoribari, 90 in Coochbehar, 94 in Alipurduar, 83 in Jalpaiguri, 26 in Malda tested positive.

7 Death:

Rabin Rai, 70 yr old of Bagdhara, Kalimpong; 

Saraswati Banik, 62 yr old of Ashrampara Siliguri;   

Pradip Pradhan, 28 yr old of New Market Nagarkatta;  

Rahidul Islam, 48 yr old of Malbazar;  

Bhaben Narjinary, 85 yr old of Aambari TE, Banarhat; 

and Dipsi Dey, 76 yr old of Kanchanpalli Raigunj died in Desun Covid Hospital.

Lucky Saha, 40-year-old resident of Kamakhyaguri in Alipurduar died in surgical isolation ward of the North Bengal Medical College and Hospital 

71 of SMC:

71 of Siliguri Municipality Corporation (44 in Darjeeling and 27 in Jalpaiguri districts) tested positive. The infected are- 5 of Ward no.31, 38; 4 of Ward nos. 16, 17, 41, 46; 3 of Ward no. 8, 14, 21, 37, 40;  2 of Ward nos. 2, 3, 5, 10, 11, 13, 15, 24, 27,  43,  47; 1 of Ward nos. 26, 34, 35, 36, 39,  42.

89 of Darjeeling   district:

Of the 89 tested positive cases of Darjeeling district 44 are from SMC area. The rest are 6 in Darjeeling Municipality 2 of Bhutia Busty, Zakir Hussain Rd, Dr KB Abdul Rd, Dali, Ava Art Gallery, 3 in Sukhiapokhari, 3 in Pulbazar (Lebong, Jawahar Busty, Rishihat), 1 in Takdah (Rangli TE), 3 in Sukuna (Simana, 2 of Sonada), 12 in Matigara, 11 in Naxalbari, 3 Phansidewa and 3 in Khoribari tested positive. 

1 death in Kalimpong: One Rabin Rai, 70 yr old of Bagdhara, Kalimpong died. His death is sixth death of the district. He was admitted on 19 September in Desun Covid Hospital and had comorbidities..

26 of Malda: 26 new cases reported today from Malda.

94 of Alipurduar:  94 new cases and 73 release reported.

90 of Coochbehar:  90 new cases with 70 release reported.

83 of Jalpaiguri: 4 died including Aparna Bakshi, 65 yr old died, 83 new cases reported from Jalpaiguri today. 

76 Discharged:

After testing negative and recovery 76 from Dr. Chhang’s SS hospital, Desun Covid hospital and others from Safe homes were discharged today.
