90 recovered from Covid-19, Fresh positive cases during last 24 hrs – 18 in hills, 52 in SMC, 5 in Darjeeling, 2 in Kurseong, 1 in Pulbazar, 2 in Sukhiapokhari,  6 of Mirik, 2 in Takdah, 2 in Sukuna, 16 in Naxalbari, 3 in Phansidewa and 6 in Khoribari, 15 in Matigara, 81 in Coochbehar, 62 in Alipurduar, 60 in Jalpaiguri, 42 in Malda tested positive.

4 Death:
4 death reported during the last 24 hours in different dedicated Covid hospitals of Darjeeling district. Shyam Tamang, 50 yr old of Singmari  Ropeway Darjeeling, Kumari Pradhan, 63 yr old of Nagrifarm T.E. Darjeeling died in Desun Covid Hospital;
Tashi Thendup, 80 yr old of Sonada  died in Dr. Chhangs SS Covid Hospital;
Rabindranath Mitra, 76 yr old of Rabindra Sarani Arabandipalli, died in RICU ward of NBMCH

43 of SMC:
43 of Siliguri Municipality Corporation (33 in Darjeeling and 10 in Jalpaiguri districts) tested positive. 4 of Ward no. 17; 3 of Ward no.10, 25, ;  2 of Ward nos. 5, 12, 13, 25, 31, 38, 40, 46 ; 1 of Ward nos. 3, 5, 15, 21, 29, 32, 33,  41, 43, 45.

93 of Darjeeling district:
Of the 93 tested positive cases of Darjeeling district 33 are from SMC area. Of the rest 50 of the district 18 are from the hills and they are -5 in Darjeeling Municipality, 2 in Kurseong Municipality, 1 in Pulbazar, 2 in Sukhiapokhari, 6 of Mirik, 2 in Takdah, Of the plains they are- 2 in Sukuna, 16 in Naxalbari, 3 in Phansidewa and 6 in Khoribari, 15 in Matigara, tested positive. 
Darjeeling district has 7805 confirmed cases of which 7025 have recovered and 106 died while 674 are active cases. 

Nil in Kalimpong: 
No new cases reported, Kalimpong district has 954 confirmed cases of which 801 have recovered, 7 died and 146 are active cases. 

42 of Malda: 
42 new cases, 61 release reported today from Malda. Malda has 6695 confirmed cases of which 6248 have recovered and 56 died and 391 are active cases. 

62 of Alipurduar:  
62 new cases, 94 released reported. Alipurduar has 4573 confirmed cases of which 4023 have recovered and 50 died while 500 are active cases. 

81 of Coochbehar:  
81 new cases with 122 release reported. Coochbehar has 5687 confirmed cases of which 4955 have recovered, 38 died and 694 are active cases. 

60 of Jalpaiguri:  
1 of Dhupguri died, 60 new cases including DIG of Police, 97 release, reported from Jalpaiguri today. Jalpaiguri has 5941 confirmed cases of which 57 died while 5385 have recovered and 499 are active cases. . 

90 Discharged:
After testing negative and recovery 90 from Dr. Chhang’s SS hospital, Desun Covid hospital and other from Safe homes were discharged today.

NBMCH:
8 suspected Covid patients are admitted in three Isolation Wards of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH). There is 2 patient in Surgical isolation ward, and 6 in Female -Gynecological Isolation ward and no patient in Respiratory Intensive Care Unit (RICU) ward are admitted. 1 of Teesta and 1 of Chhota Suruk Kalimpong admitted.

DR. CHHANG'S SS Covid Hospital 
At Dr. Chhang’s Super Speciality Covid hospital 1 each of Lohagudi, Sonada Old Cinema, Simulbari, Silban Garidhura, Bloomfield, Naya Bazar, Mahldiram,  Krishnanagar Mirik, Saureni Mirik, Dr. Hussain Rd, Ghayabari, Batasia, and 1 each of, Rockvale,  Sadhudhara, Kalimpong , Rambi Bazar, and Samthar of GTA area are admitted.

DESUN Covid Hospital
In DESUN Covid Hospital at Kawakhali, 49 Covid-19 patients are admitted, 12 are in ICU and 3 patients are newly admitted and 2 released
1 each of Bhutia Busty, Mungoo, Dr. Dr KB Abdul Aziz, Ropeway and 1 of 8th Mile Kalimpong of GTA area are admitted. 

NIVEDITA Nursing Home
48 patients are admitted of which 13 are in ICU and are being treated in Isolation ward of this hospital. Of these 32 are Covid patients. 5 patients are released.  

HATIGHISA SAFE HOUSE 
4 of (Mirik) GTA admitted.

BATASIA SAFE HOUSE, KHORIBARI 
Nil of GTA admitted.

LIMBUTARY SAFE HOME, PHANSIDEWA
Nil from GTA.

SILIGURI INDOOR STADIUM
3 of Mirik, 1 of Kurseong are admitted.

16 patients of Kalimpong and 5 from Darjeeling are admitted and 10 released in this hospital.

1 asymptomatic Covid patients of Darjeeling are being treated here.

4 asymptomatic Covid patients of Darjeeling are being treated here.

9 asymptomatic Covid patients of Kalimpong district are admitted and being treated here..

16 asymptomatic Covid patients of Kalimpong district are admitted and being treated here.

ITI SAFE HOME, GORUBATHAN
10 asymptomatic Covid patients of Kalimpong are being treated here.

QUARANTINE CENTRES AND SAFE HOMES
The number of people in the district of Darjeeling are, 1104 in home quarantine - in Kalimpong district 657 in home quarantine, the tally of GTA area stands to 1761.
There are 20 Covid patients in 2 Covid hospital outside GTA area, 21 in GTA area and 40 more Covid patients in 5 Safe Homes of GTA, 8 in 2 Safe home outside GTA area, the tally of GTA being 89 active cases in Covid hospitals and safe homes.

Number of Covid patients in the six districts of North Bengal
Today’s daily state bulletin stated that Darjeeling district has 7805 confirmed cases of which 7025 have recovered and 106 died while 674 are active cases.
