Ajit Kumar Roy, 80 yr old of Kotwali Thana, Coochbehar died in Desun Covid Hospital and

a 80 yr old of Purnea Bihar died in Nivedita Nursing Home during the last 24 hr.

45 of SMC:

45 of Siliguri Municipality Corporation (23 of Darjeeling and 22 from Jalpaiguri district) tested positive during the last 24 hrs.

 

66 of Darjeeling district:

Of the 66 positive cases of Darjeeling district 23 are from Darjeeling district of SMC while 43 cases are reported from different areas of the district during the last 24 hrs. They are 2 in Darjeeling Municipality, 1 in Sukhiapokhari, 4 in Mirik, 1 in Pulbazar, 7 in Sukuna, 13 in Matigara, 7 in Naxalbari, 4 in Phansidewa, 4 in Khoribari, tested positive.  

Darjeeling district has 6379 confirmed cases of which 5568 have recovered and 92 died while 719 are active cases. 

69 of Malda: 69 new cases reported today from Malda. Malda has 5635 confirmed cases of which 5163 have recovered and 49 died and 433 are active cases.

34 of Alipurduar:  34 new cases reported. Alipurduar has 3333 confirmed cases of which 2828 have recovered and 298 died while 476 are active cases. 

 

66 of Coochbehar:  66 new cases of Covid 19 infection. Coochbehar has 4367 confirmed cases of which 3741 have recovered, 22 died and 604 are active cases. 

 

49 of Jalpaiguri:  49 new cases reported from Jalpaiguri today. Jalpaiguri has 4816 confirmed cases of which 40 died while 4146 have recovered and 630 are active cases. 

53 Discharged:

After testing negative and recovery 53 from Dr. Chhang’s SS hospital, Desun Covid hospital and others from Safe homes were discharged today.

7 suspected Covid patients are admitted in three Isolation Wards of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH). There 2 patients in RICU ward and 5 in Female -Gynecological Isolation ward are admitted. 

1 of Bagdhara Kalimpong is admitted. 1 of Pedong referred.

DR. CHHANG'S SS Covid Hospital 

At Dr. Chhang’s Super Speciality Covid hospital 80 patients are admitted today in this hospital at Himanchal Vihar of which 17 is newly admitted while 14 are released.  

4 of Kurseong and 1 each of, Sukuna, Sonada, Simulbari, Takdah, Upper Putung, Lodhoma, and 1 each of Ongden Road, Thakurbari Kalimpong and Ongden Road Kalimpong of GTA area are admitted.

DESUN Covid Hospital

In DESUN Covid Hospital at Kawakhali, 62 Covid-19 patients are admitted, 12 are in ICU and 10 patients are newly admitted and 11 released

Milan Busty Darjeeling, Dowhill Road Kurseong, Zakir Hussain Road, Lower Makaibari, Bloomfield and, and Monsong of GTA area are admitted. 1 of Thakurbari, Kalimpong, 3 are released.

52 patients are admitted of which 13 are in ICU are being treated in Isolation ward of this hospital. Of these 34 are Covid patients. 7 released.
