KalimNews: A fresh Low Pressure Area is likely to develop over Northwest Bay of Bengal &neighbourhood around 23rd August, 2020.

Due to this consecutive low pressure systems,fairly widespread to widespread rainfall activity along with heavy to very heavy rainfall is very likely to continue over the districts of South Bengal during 19-25 August 2020 and decrease thereafter.

3.08.2020(Yellow colour): Heavy rain (7- 11)cm likely at one or two places over N & S 24 Parganas, Nadia, E- Midnapore, Howrah, Hooghly districts of South Bengal.

24.08.2020(Orange colour):1) Heavy to very heavy rain(12-20)cm likely over Howrah, N & S 24 Parganas, East & West Midnapore, Jhargram districts. 2) Heavy rain (7- 11)cm likely at one or two places over rest districts of South Bengal including Kolkata.

25.08.2020(Orange colour):1) Heavy to very heavy rain(12-20)cm likely over Bankura, Purulia, West Midnapore, Jhargram districts. 2) Heavy rain (7- 11)cm likely at one or two places over rest districts of South Bengal.
