WB records 45 death, 3080 new cases, 119578 confirmed cases, 27402 active cases, 2932 recovery, recovery rate increased to 75.02%.
In the state
the number of new cases also has been increasing, it has recorded 3080
new cases (1 day before-3066, 2 days before- 3074) as well as 45 death
(1 day before-51, 2 days before- 58) during the last 24 hours.
The total number of recovery is 2932 (1 day before-2935, 2 days before- 2647) and 119578 confirmed cases (1 day before-116498, 2 days before- 113432) while active cases is 27402 (1 day before-27299, 2 days before-27219). The death toll from the disease in the state till now is 2473 (1 day before-2428, 2 days before-2377). After recovery of the infection 89703 (1 day before-86771, days before- 83836) Covid patients are released from all the Covid hospitals of the state.
The testing of swab samples for Covid-19 in 67, ICMR testing labs is being done and in the last 24 hours 32319 (1 day before-32286, 2 days before-34214) samples were tested that tally 1347091 (1 day before-1314772, 2 days before- 1248872) till now since day 1.
In the last
24 hours,41937 persons (1 day before-39731, 2 days before- 38715) were under
home quarantine/ observation/ surveillance and a total of 457231 persons (1 day
before-452116, 2 days before- 448099) were in the home quarantine/ observation/
surveillance till today.
Number of
people released from home quarantine was 415294 (1 day-412385, 2 days before- 409384).

the 582 institutional government quarantine centres there are 2665 persons
(1 day before-2661, 2 days before- 2696) and so far from these centres 106807
persons (1 day before-106752, 2 days before- 106703) were released after
recovery.
Currently in the state there are 84 Hospitals dedicated for treating COVID-19, 29 Government Covid hospitals and 55 Private Covid-19 hospitals.
