6 death: 

A 2 and half year old male child of Umacharanpur Alipurduar and Mahamaya Rai 50 yr of Rajadanga -Krantihat died in NBMCH.

Ghanashyam Basur, 64 yr of Harijan Road Kalimpong died in Dr Chhangs Covid hospital,

Sunil Shankar 42 yr old of Chandmari Darjeeling, Ghanashyam Basur 64 yr of Harijan Road Kalimpong died in Dr Chhangs Covid hospital,

Sunil Shankar 42 yr old of Chandmari Darjeeling,

58 yr of Ranidanga Bagdogra died in Desun, 74 yr of Ward no 41 died in Dr. Chhangs hospital.

47 of Siliguri Municipal Corporation: 

During the last 24 hrs 47 of Siliguri Municipality Corporation 26 of Darjeeling and 21 from Jalpaiguri district) tested positive. They are- 9  of Ward no.9; 7  of Ward no.36 ;  4 of Ward no. 39;  5  of Ward no.2: 3  of Ward nos. 41; 2 of Ward nos.13, 27, 35, 38, 43, 46;  1 of Ward nos. 12, 20, 24, 40, 42, 45, 47.

66 of Darjeeling district

Of the 66 positive cases of Darjeeling district 26 are from Darjeeling district of SMC while 73 cases are reported from different areas of the district during the last 24 hrs. They are  of Kalimpong, 3 of Darjeeling Municipality 2 of Chhota Kagjhora and 1 of Gandhi Road , 3 of Kurseong- 1 of Tindharia and 2 of Municipality area, Naya Bazar Bhanu Tol, 2 of Bijanbari, 3 of Mirik, 3 of Sukuna, 7 of Naxalbari, 15 of Matigara, 1 of Phansidewa and  3 of Khoribari are active cases.   

Darjeeling district has 4245 confirmed cases of which 3307 have recovered and 60 died while 878 are active cases

3  of Kalimpong district: 1 died, 3 tested positive. Ghanashyam Basur,  64 yr old patient of Harijan Road, Kalimpong died in Dr Chhangs Covid hospital.

1 patient of Male medicine department and 1 Technologist of CT Scan department of Kalimpong District hospital and a person tested positive. Both Male and CT Scan department  are closed.

There are 398 confirmed cases of which 258 have recovered, 2 died and 138 are active cases. 

102 of Malda:  3 died, 102 new cases reported today from Malda. Malda has 4406 confirmed cases of which 3659 have recovered and 27 died and 720 are active cases.

54 of Alipurduar:  54 new cases reported. In the district there are 1284 confirmed cases of which 489 have recovered and 6 died while 388 are active cases. 

40 of Coochbehar:  40 new cases of Covid 19 infection with 47 recovery is reported today. The complete report of the district is, 2082 confirmed cases of which 1609 have recovered, 4 died and 310 are active cases. 

29 of Jalpaiguri: 29 new cases reported from Jalpaiguri today. Jalpaiguri has 2837 confirmed cases of which 26 died while 2038 have recovered and 658 are active cases. 

53  Discharged: 

After testing negative and recovery 14 of Dr. Chhang’s SS hospital and 5 of Desun Covid hospital and others from Safe homes were discharged today.

NBMCH

21 suspected Covid patients are admitted in three Isolation Wards of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH).

There are 1 patient in ID-1, 5 in Surgical Isolation, 1 patient in Respiratory Illness Care Unit (RICU), and 14 in Children- Female -Gynecological Isolation ward are admitted. 

1 of Kurseong admitted.

A 2 and half year old child of Alipurduar and 50 yr of Krantihat died in NBMCH. 

DR. CHHANG'S SS Covid Hospital 

At Dr. Chhang’s Super Speciality Covid hospital 87 patients are admitted today in this hospital at Himanchal Vihar of which 7 are newly admitted while 10 are released. 

7 of Kurseong, 1 of Mirik and 1 of Jorebunglow and 3 of Kalimpong admitted.

2 died, 74 yr of     and 70 yr of Kalimpong in Dr Chhang

58 yr of Bagdogra died in Desun 

DESUN Covid Hospital

In DESUN Covid Hospital at Kawakhali, 81 Covid-19 patients are admitted of which 20 are in ICU and 10 patients are newly admitted and 3 released.

1 each from Dr Zakir Hussain Road Darjeeling, Kurseong and Sukhiapokhari are admitted in this hospital. 

NIVEDITA Nursing Home

49 patients are in ICU and are being treated in Isolation ward of this hospital. Of these 32 are Covid patients.6 released.

Number of Covid patients in the eight districts of North Bengal

Today’s daily state bulletin stated that Darjeeling district has 4307 confirmed cases of which 3388 have recovered and 60 died while 859 are active cases. 

Similarly Kalimpong district has 402 confirmed cases of which 275 have recovered, 3 died and 124 are active cases. 

Alipurduar has 1297 confirmed cases of which 915 have recovered and 7 died while 375 are active cases. 

Jalpaiguri has 2793 confirmed cases of which 26 died while 2085 have recovered and 682 are active cases. 

Coochbehar has 2141 confirmed cases of which 1665 have recovered, 4 died and 472 are active cases. 

Malda has 4508 confirmed cases of which 3762 have recovered and 30 died and 716 are active cases.

Uttar Dinajpur has 2011 confirmed cases of which 1606 have recovered and 18 died and 387 are active cases.
