Record spike of 53 death, 2716 new cases, 78232 confirmed cases, 21683 active cases, 2213 recovery, recovery rate increased to 70.07%.
In the state the number of
new cases also has been increasing and during the last 24 hours it has 2716 new
cases (1 day before- 2739, 2 days before- 2589) as well as 53 death (1 day
before-49, 2 days before- 48) is recorded in the last 24 hours.
The total number of
recovery is 2088 (1 day before-2213, 2 days before- 2143) and confirmed cases
is 78232 (1 day before-75516, 2 days before- 72777) while active cases is 21683
(1 day before-21108, 2 days before-20631). The death toll from the disease in
the state till now is 1731 (1 day before-1678, 2 days before-1629). After
recovery of the infection 54818 (1 day before-52730, days before- 50517) Covid
patients are released from the hospital.
The testing of swab samples
for Covid-19 in 57, ICMR testing labs is being done and in the last 24 hours 22122
(1 day before-21072, 2 days before-20065) samples were tested that tally 956659
(1 day before-934537, 2 days before- 913465) till now since day 1.
In the last 24 hours, 32490
persons (1 day before-33479, 2 days before- 31229) were under home quarantine/
observation/ surveillance and a total of 417979 persons (1 day before-416937, 2
days before- 410410) were in the home quarantine/ observation/ surveillance
till today.
Number of people released
from home quarantine was 385489 (1 day-383458, 2 days before- 379181).
Currently in the 582
institutional government quarantine centres there are 3075 persons (1 day before-3178, 2 days
before- 3169) and so far from these centres 105586 persons (1 day before-105592,
2 days before- 105270) were released after recovery.
Currently in the state
there are 83 Hospitals dedicated for treating COVID-19, 28 Government Covid
hospitals and 55 Private Covid-19 hospitals.
Revised dates of Lockdown
in the state- August 5, 8, 20, 21, 27, 28 and 31.
