District report- Recovery- 36, Death - 6 of Siliguri, 71 of Darjeeling (27 of SMC), 1 of Kalimpong, 4 of Kurseong , 50 of Jalpaiguri, 26 of Alipurduar, 89 of Coochbehar, 53 of Malda tested positive

6 died of Covid in Darjeeling district

Bhola Ansari 70 yr old patient of Sahudangi in RICU unit of NBMCH.

Kiran Lohar 50 yr old lady patient of Gurung Busty died in DESUN hospital,

62 yr old patient of Tarak Sarani died in Nivedita Nursing home ,

77 yr old patient of Loknathnagar-Islampur died in DESUN hospital.

48 yr old died in Neotia Getwell and one patient of Champasari died. 

27 of Siliguri Municipal Corporation tested positive. They are -2 of Ward Nos. 17, 26, 35, 37,; 1 each of Ward Nos.;1, 2, 4, 7, 9, 14. 19, 24, 27, 33, 37, 38, 39, 

Others of the Kalimpong and Darjeeling districts are-  1 of Kalimpong Police station, 2 of Darjeeling Municipality, 4 of Kurseong (2 of Municipality area), 41 of Naxalbari Bagdogra and Bengdubi, 2 of Rajgunj, 1 of Matigara, 2 of Chopra, 3 of Islampur, 1 each of Khoribari and Dalkhola, 

50 of Jalpaiguri:  50 new cases reported from Jalpaiguri today. In the district there are 1406 confirmed cases of which 1080 have recovered, 11 died and 315 active cases.

26 of Alipurduar: 26 new cases reported in the district including 7 police officers, constables and civic volunteers of Sonapur, 1 nurse and staff of Birpara hospital, and 10 bank staff of two banks. In the district there are 431 Confirmed cases, 231 recovered, 9 died and 191 active cases. 

89 of Coochbehar:  89 new cases of Covid 19 infection is reported today. The complete report of the district is 857 confirmed cases of which 2 are nationals of Bangladesh and 1 of them had died, 661 recovery and 195 active cases. 

53 of Malda:  53 new cases reported today from Malda. There are 2392 Confirmed cases, 1669 have recovered and 18 died and 715 are active cases. 

36 Discharged: After testing negative twice and recovery, 14 patients from Dr. Chhang’s Covid Super specialty hospital, and 15 from Desun Covid hospital and 7 from different Safe Homes were discharged today.

NBMCH

26 suspected Covid patients are admitted in three Isolation Wards of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH).

1 patient in Isolation ward-I, 11 patients in Surgical Isolation ward, 5 patients in Respiratory Illness Care Unit (RICU), and 9 in Gynecological Isolation ward are admitted . 

1 of Kurseong–GTA is admitted.

DR. CHHANG'S SS Covid Hospital 

At Dr. Chhang’s Super Speciality Covid hospital 95 patients are admitted today in this hospital at Himanchal Vihar. 

1 patient each of Jaldhaka, Subedar Busty-Kurseong, and 3 of Kurseong are admitted. 

1 each of Pulbazar and Mirik are released.

DESUN Covid Hospital

In DESUN Covid Hospital at Kawakhali, 77 Covid-19 patients are admitted.

1 of Convent Road, Darjeeling is admitted in this hospital.

1 of Pankhabari Kurseong is released.

NIVEDITA Nursing Home

40 patients are being treated in Isolation ward of this hospital. Of these 26 are Covid patients.

QUARANTINE CENTRES AND SAFE HOMES

The number of people in home quarantine in the district of Darjeeling is 930 and in Kalimpong district is 625, the tally of GTA area stands to 1555. 

Altogether there are 40 persons in 3 institutional facility quarantines and 26 patients in 3 Safe Homes of GTA.

Number of Covid patients in the eight districts of North Bengal

Today’s daily state bulletin stated that Darjeeling district has 2536 confirmed cases of which 1748 have recovered and 23 died while 765 are active cases. 

Similarly Kalimpong district has 98 confirmed cases of which 78 have recovered, 1 died and 19 are active cases. 

Alipurduar has 443 confirmed cases of which 265 have recovered and 3 died while 175 are active cases. 

Jalpaiguri has 1463 confirmed cases of which 13 died while 1123 have recovered and 327 are active cases. 

Coochbehar has 984 confirmed cases of which 557 have recovered, 0 died and 427 are active cases. 

Malda has 2555 confirmed cases of which 2049 have recovered and 14 died and 492 are active cases.

Uttar Dinajpur has 1236 confirmed cases of which 893 have recovered and 10 died and 333 are active cases.

Dakshin Dinajpur has 1360 confirmed cases of which 996 have recovered and 8 died and 356 are active cases.
