
Record spike of 49 death, 2931 new cases, 101390 confirmed cases, 25846 active cases, 3067 recovery, recovery rate increased to 72.39%.
KalimNews, Kalimpong, 11 August 2020: Rate of recovery of Covid-19 cases in West Bengal during the last 24 hours is 72.39 percent.
In the state the number of new cases also has been
increasing and during the last 24 hours it has recorded 2931
new cases (1 day before-2905, 2 days before- 2939) as well as 49 death (1 day
before-41, 2 days before- 54) during the last 24 hours.
The total number of recovery is 3067 (1 day before-3208,
2 days before- 1996) and 101390 confirmed cases (1 day before-98459, 2 days
before- 95554) while active cases is 25846 (1 day before-26031, 2 days before-26375).
The death toll from the disease in the state till now is 2149 (1 day before-2100,
2 days before-2059). After recovery of the infection 73395 (1 day before-70328,
days before- 67120) Covid patients are released from all the Covid hospitals of
the state.
The testing of swab samples for Covid-19 in 61, ICMR
testing labs is being done and in the last 24 hours 27015 (1 day before-26297,
2 days before-26242) samples were tested that tally 1159211 (1 day before-1132196,
2 days before- 1105899) till now since day 1.
In the last 24 hours, 27927 persons (1 day before-26301,
2 days before- 27204) were under home quarantine/ observation/ surveillance and
a total of 429216 persons (1 day before-425434, 2 days before- 424343) were in
the home quarantine/ observation/ surveillance till today.
Number of people released from home quarantine was 401289
(1 day-399133, 2 days before- 397139).
Currently in the 582 institutional government quarantine
centres there are 2720 persons (1
day before-2829, 2 days before- 2859) and so far from these centres 106364 persons
(1 day before-106926, 2 days before- 106280) were released after recovery.
Currently in the state there are 83 Hospitals dedicated
for treating COVID-19, 28 Government Covid hospitals and 55 Private Covid-19
hospitals.
