District report- Recovery- 70, Death - 6 in Siliguri, 2 each in Jalpaiguri and Alipurduar and 1 in Coochbehar; 86 of Darjeeling (44 of SMC), 1 each of Kalimpong, and Kurseong Municipality and 2 of Darjeeling, 26 of Jalpaiguri, 48 of Alipurduar, 74 of Coochbehar, 94 of Malda tested positive

6 died in Siliguri Covid hospitals and 5 in others: 

78 yr patient of Salugara, 58 yr patient of Champasari died in RICU of NBMCH.

57 yr lady ASI of Dakshin Dinajpur, 65 yr patient of Pati Colony,Ward no 47, 68 yr patient of Jamuribhitta -Jalpaiguri died in Dr. Chhangs Covid SS hospital

Kishori Toppo, 81 yr of Mal Bazar and Shriram Saha, 65 yr patient of Dhupguri died of Covid died.

86 of two districts including 44 of Siliguri Municipal Corporation tested positive.

1 each from municipality area of Kalimpong and Kurseong, 2 of Darjeeling municipality, 1 of Bijanbari, 10 of Matigara, 20 of Rajgunj, 4 of Naxalbari and 2 from Phansidewa are infected. Yesterdays 2 of Kalimpong are a police personnel and a Civic volunteer of Kalimpong PS,

Siliguri Municipal Corporation area: 5 of Ward no. 35; 4 of Ward Nos.,33; 3 of Ward No.27; 2 of Ward No. 7,16, 36, 37, 47; 1 each of Ward Nos. 5, 9, 10, 11, 13, 14, 19, 24, 26, 31, 34, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 44, 46, 49;

2 dead, 22 of Jalpaiguri:  2 died. 22 new cases reported from Jalpaiguri today. 11 of Rajgunj (5 police personnel) , 5 of Maynaguri, 6 of Dhupguri tested positive. In the district there are 1356 confirmed cases of which 1011 have recovered, 11 died and 334 active cases.

2 dead, 48 of Alipurduar infected: One of Jateswar, and another of Old Hasimara died. In the district there are 395 Confirmed cases, 227 recovered, 6 died and 162 active cases. 

1 dead, 74 of Coochbehar:  74 new cases of Covid 19 infection is reported today. The complete report of the district is 768 confirmed cases of which 2 are nationals of Bangladesh and 1 of them had died, 454 recovery and 194 active cases. 

94 of Malda:  94 new cases reported today from Malda. There are 2339 Confirmed cases, 1604 have recovered and 17 died and 718 are active cases. 

70 Discharged: After testing negative twice and recovery, 27 patients from Dr. Chhang’s Covid Super specialty hospital, and 23 from Desun Covid hospital and 26 from Safe Homes were discharged today.

NBMCH

29 suspected Covid patients are admitted in three Isolation Wards of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH).

There are 2 patients in Isolation ward-I, 11 patients in Surgical Isolation ward, 6 patients in Respiratory Illness Care Unit (RICU), and 10 in Gynecological Isolation ward. 

1 of Kurseong–GTA is admitted.

1 of Jaldhaka–GTA is released.

DR. CHHANG'S SS COVID hospital 

At Dr. Chhang’s Super Speciality Covid hospital 102 patients are admitted today. 

1 patient each of Jaldhaka, Subedar Busty-Kurseong, Pulbazar and Mirik and 3 of Kurseong are admitted.

1 of Tamsang-Darjeeling,is released.

DESUN COVID hospital

In DESUN Covid Hospital at Kawakhali, 72 Covid-19 patients are admitted of which 17 are in ICU.

1 of Pankhabari Kurseong is admitted in this hospital.

NIVEDITA Nursing Home

40 patients are being treated in Isolation ward of this hospital. Of these 26 are Covid patients.

QUARANTINE CENTRES AND SAFE HOMES

The number of people in home quarantine in the district of Darjeeling is 893 and in Kalimpong district is 627, the tally of GTA area stands to 1520. 

Altogether there are 42 persons in 3 institutional facility quarantines and 26 patients in 3 Safe Homes of GTA.

Number of Covid patients in the eight districts of North Bengal

Today’s daily state bulletin stated that Darjeeling district has 2385 confirmed cases of which 1673 have recovered and 23 died while 689 are active cases. 

Similarly Kalimpong district has 96 confirmed cases of which 78 have recovered, 1 died and 17 are active cases. 

Alipurduar has 425 confirmed cases of which 263 have recovered and 2 died while 160 are active cases. 

Jalpaiguri has 1406 confirmed cases of which 12 died while 1080 have recovered and 314 are active cases. 

Coochbehar has 905 confirmed cases of which 534 have recovered, 0 died and 371 are active cases. 

Malda has 2498 confirmed cases of which 2002 have recovered and 14 died and 482 are active cases.

Uttar Dinajpur has 1178 confirmed cases of which 817 have recovered and 9 died and 352 are active cases.

Dakshin Dinajpur has 1303 confirmed cases of which 966 have recovered and 7 died and 330 are active cases.
