Death rate soaring high- Record spike of 61 death, 2816 new cases, 83800 confirmed cases, 22992 active cases, 2078 recovery, recovery rate increased to 70.36%.
In the state the number of
new cases also has been increasing and during the last 24 hours it has 2816 new
cases (1 day before-2752, 2 days before- 2716) as well as 61 death (1 day
before-54, 2 days before- 53) is recorded in the last 24 hours.
The total number of
recovery is 2078 (1 day before-2066, 2 days before- 2088) and confirmed cases
is 83800 (1 day before-80984, 2 days before- 78232) while active cases is 22992
(1 day before-22315, 2 days before-21683). The death toll from the disease in
the state till now is 1846 (1 day before-1785, 2 days before-1731). After
recovery of the infection 58962 (1 day before-56884, days before- 54818) Covid
patients are released from the hospital.
The testing of swab samples
for Covid-19 in 59, ICMR testing labs is being done and in the last 24 hours 24047
(1 day before-22321, 2 days before-22122) samples were tested that tally 1003027
(1 day before-978980, 2 days before- 956659) till now since day 1.
In the last 24 hours, 30201 persons
(1 day before-31320, 2 days before- 32490) were under home quarantine/
observation/ surveillance and a total of 419714 persons (1 day before-418530, 2
days before- 417979) were in the home quarantine/ observation/ surveillance
till today.
Number of people released
from home quarantine was 389513 (1 day-387210, 2 days before- 385489).
Currently in the 582
institutional government quarantine centres there are 2875 persons (1 day before-2911, 2 days
before- 3075) and so far from these centres 105917 persons (1 day before-105675,
2 days before- 105586) were released after recovery.
Currently in the state there are 83 Hospitals dedicated for treating COVID-19, 28 Government Covid hospitals and 55 Private Covid-19 hospitals.
Revised dates of Lockdown in the state- August 5, 8, 20, 21, 27, 28 and 31.
