KalimNews, Kalimpong, 14 July 2020 : Since 5th July the rate of recovery of Covid-19 cases in West Bengal has been decreasing. On 4th July it has reached upto 66.72%, from the very day it has been decreasing and during the last 24 hours it is 60.69 percent.  
In the state the number of new cases also has been increasing and during the last 24 hours it has 1390 new cases (1 day before-1435, 2 days before- 1560) as well as 24 death (1 day before-24, 2 days before- 26) is recorded in the last 24 hours.
The total number of recovery is 718 (1 day before- 632, 2 days before- 622) and confirmed cases is 32838 (1 day before-31448, 2 days before- 30013) while active cases is 11927 (1 day before-11279, 2 days before-10500). The death toll from the disease in the state till now is 980 (1 day before-956, 2 days before-932).
After recovery of the infection 19931 (1 day before-19213, days before- 18581) Covid patients are released from the hospital.
The testing of swab samples for Covid-19 in 54, ICMR testing labs is being done and in the last 24 hours 11102 (1 day before-10359, 2 days before-11709) samples were tested that tally 638540 (1 day before-627438, 2 days before- 617079) till now since day 1.   
In the last 24 hours, 26201 persons (1 day before-28430, 2 days before- 30839) were under home quarantine/ observation/ surveillance and a total of 361333 persons (1 day before-359825, 2 days before- 356020) were in the home quarantine/ observation/ surveillance till today.
Number of people released from home quarantine was 335132 (1 day before-331395, 2 days before- 325181).
Currently in the 582 institutional government quarantine centres there are       persons 4388 (1 day before-4512, 2 days before- 4752) and so far from these centres 101644 persons (1 day before-101167, 2 days before- 100891) were released after recovery.
Currently in the state there are 80 Hospitals dedicated for treating COVID-19, 26 Government Covid hospitals and 54 Private Covid-19 hospitals.
