Record spike of 42 death, 2404 new cases, 56377 confirmed cases, 19391 active cases, 2125 recovery, recovery rate decreased from 66.72% to 63.24% .
In the state the number of
new cases also has been increasing and during the last 24 hours it has 2404 new
cases (1 day before-2216, 2 days before- 2436) as well as 42 death (1 day before-35, 2 days before- 34) is
recorded in the last 24 hours.
The total number of
recovery is 2125 (1 day before-1873, 2 days before- 2006) and confirmed cases
is 56377 (1 day before-53973, 2 days before- 51757) while active cases is 19391
(1 day before-19154, 2 days before-18846). The death toll from the disease in
the state till now is 1332 (1 day before-1290, 2 days before-1255). After
recovery of the infection 35654 (1 day before-33529, days before- -31656) Covid
patients are released from the hospital.
The testing of swab samples
for Covid-19 in 56, ICMR testing labs is being done and in the last 24 hours 15628
(1 day before-15485, 2 days before-14558) samples were tested that tally 789140
(1 day before-773512, 2 days before- 758027) till now since day 1.
In the last 24 hours, 33184
persons (1 day before-31219, 2 days before- 32140) were under home quarantine/
observation/ surveillance and a total of 395324 persons (1 day before-390359, 2
days before- 388280) were in the home quarantine/ observation/ surveillance
till today.
Number
of people released from home quarantine was 362140 (1 day-359140, 2 days
before- 356140).
Currently in the 582
institutional government quarantine centres there are 3412 persons
(1 day before-3402, 2 days before- 3423) and so far from these centres 104350 persons
(1 day before-104304, 2 days before- 104098) were released after recovery.
Currently in the state there are 81 Hospitals dedicated for treating COVID-19, 27 Government Covid hospitals and 54 Private Covid-19 hospitals.
