24 Recovered, 6 dies of Covid, 134 of Siliguri Municipality, 3 of Kalimpong, 20 of Coochbehar, 6 of Alipurduar, 21 of Malda, 66 of Jalpaiguri tested positive

Sikkim- One doctor of emergency ward of STNM hospital, 3 doctors are also suspected of infection from an infected patient

6 died 

3 died in RICU unit of North Bengal Medical College.

A 80 yr old resident of Naukaghat Jalpaiguri died at Desun hospital.

A 97 yr old Pradhan Nagar died today at Desun hospital.

A 53 yr old of Rabindrasarani died in Desun  hospital. 

134 of Siliguri Municipal Corporation

Of the 134 persons of SMC testing positive, the positive patients are 

9 of Ward No.17; 4 of Ward Nos.2, 42; 3 of Ward Nos.38; 2 of Ward Nos.5, 6, 9, 24, 32, 40; 1 each of Ward Nos.7 ,14, 21, 26, 27, 35, 36, 37, 41, 43, 45, 46, Babupara, Deshbandhu Para, Shaktigar etc. 

37 of other areas of Darjeeling district

5 of Matigara, 12 of Naxalbari, 8 of Bagdogra, Kalamjote, Khaprail, Ranidanga, tested positive.

3 of Kalimpong

1 from Yangmakum 16 mile and another from Teesta DI Fund area tested positive, yesterday 1 of Sombaray Bazar Gorubathan had tested positive.

During the month of July 24 persons of Kalimpong (8 from Gorubathan block) district have tested positive.

In the month of June 45 cases of Covid-19 were reported from Kalimpong district (21 from Gorubathan block) and all have recovered.

Till today 77 cases have been reported from Kalimpong and 2 died while almost all have recovered except the 15 fresh cases. 

Alipurduar: 6 new cases reported from Alipurduar. In the district there are 234 Confirmed cases, 215 recovered,1 died and 18 active cases. 

Malda:  One 80 yr old patient died in Malda, 21 new cases is reported today from Malda. There are 1897 Confirmed cases, 1496 have recovered and 9 died and 392 are active cases. 

Coochbehar:  20 new cases of Covid 19 infection is reported today. The complete report of the district is 499 confirmed cases of which 2 are nationals of Bangladesh and 1 of them had died, 406 recovery and 92 active cases. Lock down in the district is extended for one week.

Jalpaiguri:  1 person of Maynaguri died, 66 new case is reported from Jalpaiguri today. 27 cases from Mal Bazar,3 of Matelli, 29 of Rajgunj is reported today. In the district there are 1138 confirmed cases of which 715 have recovered, 9 died and 414 active cases.

39 Discharged: After testing negative twice and recovery, 18 from Dr. Chhang’s Covid Super speciality hospital, 6 from Desun Covid hospital and others from different Safe homes are discharged today.

NBMCH

There are 24 patients in four Isolation Ward of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH).

There are 1 in Isolation Ward –I, 5 in Surgical ward, 7 patients in Respiratory Illness Care Unit (RICU), and 11 in Gynecological ward. 

 

DR. CHHANG'S SS COVID hospital 

At Dr. Chhang’s Super Speciality Covid hospital 81 patients are admitted today. 

1 patient of Tungsung-Darjeeling, Gorubathan and 2 from Tamsang- Darjeeling is admitted.

DESUN hospital

In DESUN Covid Hospital at Kawakhali, 70 Covid-19 patients are admitted of them 18 are in ICU.

1 each of Singmari Darjeeling and Sukuna is admitted in this hospital.

NIVEDITA Nursing Home

38 patients are being treated in Isolation ward of this hospital of them 26 are Covid patients.

HATIGHISA SAFE HOUSE 

None from GTA are admitted.

BATASIA SAFE HOUSE 

1 of Barbong- Kurseong is admitted to this Safe House. 

GTA

TRIBENI Covid Hospital

No patient from GTA area is presently admitted in this hospital. Government of West Bengal has upgraded this hospital from SARI II to SARI IV Covid hospital. 

DISHA SAFE HOME

14 Covid patients of Kalimpong district are admitted and being treated here.

ITI SAFE HOME, Gorubathan

2 patients of Gorubathan are being treated here, 

QUARANTINE CENTRES

The number of people in home quarantine in the district of Darjeeling is 1030 and in Kalimpong district is 743, the tally of GTA area stands to 1743. 

Altogether there are 72 persons in 6 institutional facility quarantines of GTA.

Number of Covid patients in the eight districts of North Bengal

Today’s daily state bulletin stated that Darjeeling district has 1682 confirmed cases of which 1123 have recovered and 15 died while 544 are active cases. 

Similarly Kalimpong district has 77 confirmed cases of which 58 have recovered, 1 died and 18 are active cases. 

Alipurduar has 244 confirmed cases of which 211 have recovered and 1 died while 32 are active cases. 

Jalpaiguri has 1072 confirmed cases of which 9 died while 649 have recovered and 414 are active cases. 

Coochbehar has 539 confirmed cases of which 394 have recovered, 1 died and 144 are active cases. 

Malda has 2017 confirmed cases of which 1588 have recovered and 9 died and 420 are active cases.

Uttar Dinajpur has 840 confirmed cases of which 498 have recovered and 5 died and 337 are active cases.

Dakshin Dinajpur has 962 confirmed cases of which 628 have recovered and 5 died and 329 are active cases.
