3 Covid patient dies, 21 from Siliguri MC, 38 of Malda, 5 of Jalpaiguri, 5 of Alipurduar tested positive, no cases in Coochbehar since 4 days.

KalimNews, Kalimpong, 4 July 2020: 

Siliguri: 2 died: A 75 yr old Covid patient of Maitigara admitted in Desun hospital died today. Another 32 yr old admitted on 2nd July in Jalpaiguri Krirangan Covid hospital also died.. 

One patient of Ward 34 died last night in NBMCH.

21 tested positive: From Darjeeling 7, and from Jalpaiguri district 14 tested positive.

8 of Ward no.39 (22, 35, 10, 35, 48, 53, 62, 74 yr old), 2 of Ward no.41 (38, 41 yr old), 2 of Ward no.2 (28, 46 yr old), 1 each of Ward no.5 (49 yr old), Ward no.4 (27 yr old), Ward no.6 (58 yr old), Ward no.10 (22 yr old), Ward no.12 (53 yr old), Ward no.37 (65 yr old), Ward no.38 (52 yr old), a 43 yr old of NJP  Bhaktinagar.

Recovery: 3 patients are released from Desun Covid hospital, Dr. Chhang’s Super Speciality Covid hospital and Triveni Hospital. 

Malda: 38 Covid patients died,. There are 745 Confirmed cases, 401 recovered and 344 active cases.

Alipurduar:   5 new case reported from Alipurduar. In the district there are 195 Confirmed cases, 141 recovered and 54 active cases. 

Jalpaiguri:  1 died. 5 new case from Jalpaiguri. Tally of district is 366 Confirmed cases of which 310 have recovered, 4 died and 24 are active cases.

Coochbehar:  No new case of Covid 19 infection reported since four days. The complete report of the district is 297 confirmed cases of which 2 are nationals of Bangladesh and 1 of them had died, 295 recovery and 1 active cases. 

NBMCH

There are 10 patients in the three Isolation Ward of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH). 4 patient in Isolation Ward-1, 1 patients in Surgical Isolation Ward, 3 patients in Respiratory Illness Care Unit (RICU) and 2 patient in Gynecological Isolation unit are admitted, 1 of the 2 is from GTA and has tested positive.

Covid hospital

At Dr. Chhang’s Super Speciality Covid hospital 55 patients are admitted today. 

2 of Fagu, Gorubathan are admitted today.

DESUN hospital

DESUN hospital is the second Covid hospital of Darjeeling district. In DESUN Covid Hospital at Kawakhali, 53 Covid-19 patients are admitted. 

   

Tribeni Hospital

2 persons admitted from Darjeeling. There are 5 patients of Darjeeling and 3 of Kalimpong today.

HATIGHISA SAFE HOUSE 

12 patients are admitted in Hatighisa Safe House. 

GTA

KalimNews, Kalimpong, 4 July 2020: 

The number of people in home quarantine in the district of Darjeeling is 1744 and in Kalimpong district is 1209, the tally of GTA area stands to 2953. 

Altogether there are 87 persons in 7 institutional facility quarantines of GTA.

Today’s daily state bulletin stated that Darjeeling district has 528 confirmed cases of which 301 have recovered and 10 died while 217 are active cases. Similarly Kalimpong district has 55 confirmed cases of which 48 have recovered, 1 died and 6 are active cases. Alipurduar has 186 confirmed cases of which 175 have recovered while 11 are active cases. Jalpaiguri has 364 confirmed cases of which 1 died while 294 have recovered and 69 are active cases. CoochBehar has 305 confirmed cases of which 300 have recovered and 5 are active cases. Malda has 706 confirmed cases of which 431 have recovered and 1 died and 268 are active cases.
