WB status: Recovery rate 65.12 percent, 475 new cases, 4852 active cases, 15648 confirmed case, 15 death ( total-606), 488 recovery (total-10190)

KalimNews, Kalimpong, 25 June 2020: Todays report states a record and encouraging recovery of cases equivalent to 65.12 percent though the number of new cases is increasing in a slow rate. West Bengal is now at 7th position in terms of the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic.

In the state 475 new cases (1 day before-445, 2 days before- 370) as well as 15 death (1 day before-11, 2 days before-11) and 488 recovery (1 day before-484, 2 days before-531) is recorded in the last 24 hours.

The total number of confirmed cases of Covid-19 in West Bengal is 15648 (1 day before-15173, 2 days before-14728) while active cases is 4852 (1 day before-4880, 2 days before-4930). The death toll from the disease till now is 606 (1 day before-591, 2 days before-580).

After recovery of the infection 10190 (1 day before-9702, days before-9218) Covid patients are released from the hospital and the rate of recovery has encouragingly increased to 65.12 %.

The testing of swab samples for Covid-19 in 50, ICMR testing labs is being done and in the last 24 hours 9492 (1 day before-9489, 2 days before-9423) samples were tested that tally 439258 (1 day before-429766, 2 days before-420277) till now since day 1.

In the last 24 hours, 98751 persons (1 day before-110803, 2 days before-121294) were under home quarantine/ observation/ surveillance and a total of 302688 persons (1 day before-301188, 2 days before-299688) were in the home quarantine/ observation/ surveillance till today.

Number of people released from home quarantine was 203957 (1 day before-190385, 2 days before-178394).

Currently in the 582 institutional government quarantine centres there are 7865 persons (1 day before-8585, 2 days before-8819) and so far from these centres 93180 persons (1 day before-92189, 2 days before-91469) were released after recovery.
