Recovery rate increased to 47.79%
In the state 407 new cases (1 day before-389, 2 days before- 454) as well as 10 death (1 day before-12, 2 days before-12) and 434 recovery (1 day before-518, 2 days before-332) is recorded today.
The total number of confirmed cases of Covid-19 in West Bengal is 11494 (1 day before-11087, 2 days before-10698) while active cases is 5515 (1 day before-5552, 2 days before-5693). The death toll from the disease till now is 484 (1 day before-475, 2 days before-463).
After recovery of the infection 5494 (1 day before-5060, days before-4542) are released from the hospital and the rate of recovery has increased to 47.79%
The testing of swab samples for Covid-19 in 45, ICMR testing labs is being done at a very good rate and today 9509 (1 day before-9026, 2 days before-9008) samples within 24 hour were tested that tally 343242 (1 day before-333733, 2 days before-324707) till now since day 1.
Today 156528 persons (1 day before-157923, 2 days before-157632) are currently under home quarantine/ observation/ surveillance and total 280117 persons (1 day before-277551, 2 days before-274841) were in the home quarantine/ observation/ surveillance.
Number of people released from home quarantine was 123589 (1 day before-119628, 2 days before-117209).

Currently in the 582 institutional government quarantine centres there are 13128 persons (1 day before-14259, 2 days before-14941) and so far from these centres 83335 persons (1 day before-81930, 2 days before-80803) were released after recovery.
Currently in the state there are 69 Hospitals dedicated for treating COVID-19, 16 Government Covid hospitals and 53 Private Covid-19 hospitals.
