Record recovery rate gradually increases to 62.58%- West Bengal- 370 new cases -11 death -531 recovery- 14728 confirmed cases - -4930 Active cases
In the state 370 new cases (1 day before-413, 2 days before- 414) as well as 11 death (1 day before-14, 2 days before-15) and 531 recovery (1 day before-390, 2 days before-432) is recorded in the last 24 hours.
The total number of confirmed cases of Covid-19 in West Bengal is 14728 (1 day before-14358, 2 days before-13945) while active cases is 4930 (1 day before-5102, 2 days before-5093). The death toll from the disease till now is 580 (1 day before-569, 2 days before-555).
After recovery of the infection 9218 (1 day before-8687, days before-8297) Covid patients are released from the hospital and the rate of recovery has encouragingly increased to 62.58%
The testing of swab samples for Covid-19 in 49, ICMR testing labs is being done and in the last 24 hours 9423 (1 day before-9363, 2 days before-10549) samples were tested that tally 420277 (1 day before-410854, 2 days before-401491) till now since day 1.
In the last 24 hours, 121294 persons (1 day before-133391, 2 days before-137838) were under home quarantine/ observation/ surveillance and a total of 299688 persons (1 day before-299688, 2 days before-298566) were in the home quarantine/ observation/ surveillance till today.
Number of people released from home quarantine was 178394 (1 day before-166297, 2 days before-160278).
Currently in the 582 institutional government quarantine centres there are 8819 persons (1 day before-8827, 2 days before-8897) and so far from these centres 91469 persons (1 day before-91380, 2 days before-90350) were released after recovery.
