Record 45.63% recovery cases of Covid-19-518 in 24 hr- tally to 5060 out of 11087 confirmed cases.
KalimNews, Kalimpong, 14 June 2020: Todays report states a record highest spike of increase in new cases and active cases.
In the state 389 new cases (1 day before-454, 2 days before- 476) as well as 12 death (1 day before-12, 2 days before-9) and 518 recovery (1 day before-332, 2 days before-218) is recorded today.
The total number of confirmed cases of Covid-19 in West Bengal is 11087 (1 day before-10698, 2 days before-10244) while active cases is 5552 (1 day before-5693, 2 days before-5587). The death toll from the disease till now is 475 (1 day before-463, 2 days before-451).
After recovery of the infection 5060 (1 day before-4542, days before-4206) are released from the hospital and the rate of recovery has increased to 45.63%
The testing of swab samples for Covid-19 is done in 43, ICMR testing labs. Today 9026 (1 day before-9008, 2 days before-8758) samples within 24 hour were tested that tally 333733 (1 day before-324707, 2 days before-315699) till now since day 1.
Today 157923 persons (1 day before-157632, 2 days before-157289) are currently under home quarantine/ observation/ surveillance and total 277551 persons (1 day before-274841, 2 days before-272562) were in the home quarantine/ observation/ surveillance.
Number of people released from home quarantine was 119628 (1 day before-117209, 2 days before-115273).
Currently in the 582 institutional government quarantine centres there are 14259 persons (1 day before-14941, 2 days before-17036) and so far from these centres 81930 persons (1 day before-80803, 2 days before-77947) were released after recovery.
Currently in the state there are 69 Hospitals dedicated for treating COVID-19, 16 Government Covid hospitals and 53 Private Covid-19 hospitals.

Today’s daily state bulletin stated that Darjeeling district has 197 confirmed cases of which 80 have recovered and 4 died while 113 are active cases. Similarly Kalimpong district has 45 confirmed cases of which 16 have recovered, 1 died and 28 are active cases. Alipurduar has 45 confirmed cases of which 31 have recovered while 14 are active cases. Jalpaiguri has 217 confirmed cases of which 60 have recovered and 157 are active cases. CoochBehar has 259 confirmed cases of which 211 have recovered and 48 are active cases.
