KalimNews, Kalimpong, 16 June 2020: 
Kurseong: 1 expectant mother of Kurseong has tested positive.
Siliguri: 1 patient admitted in CCU of Siliguri district hospital died and one patient is found to be infected. A 25 yr expectant woman of Tikiapara ward no. 46 admitted on 11 June was yesterday tested positive to Covid-19. Her baby died during her caesarian operation on 12 June. She was transferred to Covid hospital. She was in CCU with other patients including a 64 yr old Kidney patient who died last night and his test report is awaited. Doctors, nurses and others in contact with the patient are being quarantined.
Coochbehar: 18 new cases of Covid 19 infection is reported today. Last night 5 were also reported infected. Of them 3 are Asha workers and 2 nurses of Sitai. 
The complete report of the district is 276 confirmed cases of which 2 are nationals of Bangladesh and one of them had died 216 recovery and 60 active cases. 
Alipurduar: 28 new case is reported today from Alipurduar. All are returnees from Maharashtra. In the district there are 78 Confirmed cases, 49 recovered and 29 active cases.
Malda: 10 of Malda tested positive. 
Jalpaiguri: 14 tested positive to Covid-19. 236 Conffirmed cases. 

NBMCH
KalimNews, Kalimpong, 16 June 2020: 
NBMCH: One 33 year old patient of Kalimpong admitted in ICU of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH) tested positive, another 25 year staff of NBMCH too tested positive. 
There are 2 patients each in Respiratory ICU Isolation ward, in gynecological ward and in surgical isolation ward. 3 patients of Isolation ward have tested positive to Covid 19. 1 patients of the RICU and 1 of gynecological ward also have died.

Covid hospital
In Dr. Chhang’s Super Speciality Covid hospital new 12 patients were admitted, and the tally stands at 61. 
19 patients of GTA area are in the Dr. Chhang’s SSC hospital. There are 5 patients, they are -2 of Frymal Village, 1 of Giddey Pahar, 1 of Ambotia,1 of Tindharia. 
4 including 2 of Badamtam, 1 of Teesta Valley and 1 of Springside were released within 24 hrs. 
14 of Kalimpong (1 of 12 Dhurey Kalimpong Municipality, 1 of Relli Road, 1 of Middle Bong Busty, 1 of Tindhurey and 10 of Gorubathan).
11 including 1 of Sherpa gaon, 1 of Malli Road, 1 of Rambi Reang, 1 of Pedong, 1 of Kumai and 6 of Gorubathan were released after recovery.

DESUN hospital
KalimNews, Kalimpong, 16 June 2020: 
DESUN hospital is the second Covid hospital of Siliguri. In DESUN Covid Hospital at Kawakhali, 24 Covid-19 patients are admitted. 

GTA
KalimNews, Kalimpong, 16 June 2020: 
The number of people in home quarantine in the district of Darjeeling is 3156 and in Kalimpong district it is 1707, the tally of GTA area stands to 4863. 
Altogether there are 166 persons in 9 institutional facility quarantines of GTA.

Today’s daily state bulletin stated that Darjeeling district has 219 confirmed cases of which 93 have recovered and 4 died while 122 are active cases. Similarly Kalimpong district has 45 confirmed cases of which 16 have recovered, 1 died and 28 are active cases. Alipurduar has 74 confirmed cases of which 31 have recovered while 43 are active cases. Jalpaiguri has 234 confirmed cases of which 77 have recovered and 157 are active cases. CoochBehar has 264 confirmed cases of which 211 have recovered and 53 are active cases.
