India- record spike of 9,304 fresh coronavirus cases

KalimNews, Kalimpong, 4 June 2020:  On 72nd day of national lockdown-India witnessed a record spike of 9,304 fresh coronavirus cases with 2,16,919 confirmed cases and 1,06,737 active cases. The highest cases were of June 3 (8,909 cases), June 1 (8,392 cases). The other next highest were on May 31 (8,380 cases), June 1 (8171 cases), May 30 (7,964 cases) and May 29 (7,466 cases).
As per the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare’s latest data released, the total number of 260 deaths in the last 24 hours. As many as 1,04,107 people have been cured/discharged. The death toll has reached 6,075.
After the first confirmed positive case was reported on January 30 in Kerala, the epidemic has expanded its footprints in the country, affecting more than 1.25 lakh people.
The country is under lockdown since 25th March and it has been extended till 30th June 2020 in five phases. Today is the 4th day of the Unlock-1 (Lockdown V) of the nationwide lockdown to curb the spread of Covid-19.

Today number of  patients released after recovery was 3804 (1 day before-4776, 2 days before-3708) that tally 104107 (1 day before-100303, 2 days before-95527) that is 49.07 per cent of patients have recovered which is a very good result.
Within the last 24 hours 106737 active cases (1 day before-109417, 2 days before-97581) is recorded. Today there are 9304 new cases (1 day before-8909, 2 days before-8171) and 216919 confirmed cases (1 day before-207615, 2 days before-198706) is recorded. 

Maharashtra still remains the worst-hit state of the country with 74860 confirmed cases (1 day before-72300, 2 days before-70013), and 32329 recovery (1 day before-31333, 2 days before-30108) and 2587 death (1 day before-2465, 2 days before-2362).
Tamilnadu is the second highest with 25872 confirmed cases (1 day before-24586, 2 days before-23495) and 14316 recovery (1 day before-13706, 2 days before-13170) and 208 death (1 day before-197, 2 days before-184). 
Delhi is again in the third position with highest increase of cases observed, with       23645 confirmed cases (1 day before-22132, 2 days before- 20834), 9542 recovery (1 day before-9243, 2 days before- 8746), and 606 death (1 day before-556, 2 days before- 523).

Gujrat, is in the fourth position and has 18100 confirmed cases (1 day before-17617, 2 days before 17200) and 12212 recovery (1 day before-11894, 2 days before-10780) and 1122 death (1 day before-1092, 2 days before-1063) and release from Hospital.
